Thursday eats
Feeling better today. Small victory of not giving in to emotional hunger yesterday. It is amazing how powerful the feelings are like the body goes into flight or fight mode as if is an emergency is immenent. Lots of safe talk to calm down and set limits.
B-protein shake
L-chicken and spinach
D-cod and broccoli
S-maybe hard boiled egg
Good for you for conquering the emotional hunger monster. I let myself get into stress eating last night but I feel more in control today.
My plan is:
B: Click
L: Whole wheat sandwich thin with grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato,small amount of mayo
D: Homemade vegetable beef soup
S: Clementine

B-Morningstar veggie patties and steamed zucchini
L-4oz turkey breast and some type of green veggie
D-salad topped with grilled chicken breast
S-quest bar

Good morning everyone!
Had a close call yesterday at a resturant. I did some self talk asking 'how bad do you want to lose this weight?' You can eat that or you can stay on track the rest of the day. Whew!
B & L protein shake
s raw veggies/dip
d salmon
s protein shake sf jello (sf jello frequently saves the day for me)
Today's plan.........walk 10,000 steps.....have walked 4,000.......
.90 oz. water....have had 60 oz......
Vitamins ✅ need to dust off the elliptical !!!
breakfast........protein/coffee ✅
snack.............Apple ✅
lunch..............chicken casserole
dinner.............chicken from Bountiful Baskets ( haven't tried it yet....just got it last night)/ roasted veggies......also from Bountiful Baskets !!

Thank you for your post sharing your victory of not giving in to emotional hungry. I really, really needed it. I'm tired. I haven't slept very well since I had my knee surgery. I woke up early this morning (too early) so I've been tired all day. For some reason, being tired or being sick is a trigger for emotional eating. It is strange but true. Coming on BOTT and reading that a couple of you didn't give me makes me feel much better......THANKS!
Here are my eats for today:
B - Coffee, creamer w/Splenda - 3 cups (really tired so added another cup LOL)
L - 1/2 slice of Turkey Meatloaf with steamed broccoli
D - Turkey Meatloaf with green beans
S - (Maybe) Apple w/1 slice of cheddar cheese

Kathy those are also triggers for me especially feeling sick. Get some rest and hope you get a better night sleep.
