Hi everyone. I've been off track a bit the last few days as I worked my usual night shift and it can throw my planning off. I take my meals, but I can't always sit calmly and eat and be mindful of what I'm doing. Then I'm super tired and have to watch my choices more carefully. Back to "normal" today.

B- 1/2 apple with almond butter, turkey roll up

L- 1/2 sandwich thin with tomato sauce/turkey pepperoni/mozzarella cheese

D- grilled chicken with a salad

S- almonds

Have a great day

Waysta you have been posting your food consistently and looking at it there doesn't seen to be anything that stands out that would cause a weight gain.  Maybe you could just switch something up to see if it makes a difference.  You are doing well and eating healthy.  I have noticed that the small gains have been much harder to take off the further out you get.  I had a 10 pound gain at 15 months and lost 9 in 5 days doing all protein.  I did it again in November and saw 6 pound loss in 5 days doing the exact same thing.  I have been consistent with my health plan and have only weighed twice this month and have lost 1/2 pound.  I was trying not to go hard core and do only protein, but I might have to in order to loss this gain.  I would be okay with the gain, but my clothes have started to feel uncomfortable and I also feel differently in my body.  If is so different now,  I could gain 20 pounds before surgery and not even know it.  Keep experimenting and see what works.

I am four years out ......have gained 40 lbs over the past three years.....I know that I am not alone in the "easy to gain category ", but I feel like it doesn't matter how well I eat, I still gain !   I know you are thinking that I must not record everything I eat and sometimes I don't, but for 90% of the time it is recorded......I just need to find the right course of action for me ..... Been looking for that miracle for over 50 years !!!!!  We are all different and I will just keep trying !!!!   Thanks for taking the time to write.

I wasn't thinking you were not recording your food at all.  I was thinking how frustrating it must be to eat in a healthy way and not have your body respond.  I also belong to the easy to gain group.  Being four years out I was thinking it must be given harder.  I know it is at 2 1/2 years out.  I also literally have been struggling with diets and yo yo dieting since I was 10.  I will be 60 this year.  While WLS helped me loss easily, maintenance is still as hard as it was before.  Hoping you can find a plan that will stop the gain.  I am hear to give any support I can.  We can't give up.

Btw. For me to lose i need to cut the carbs really low (20-30 per day ), limit proteins to 60-80 gr a day, and increase the fat - fat from bacon, avocado, nuts, real olives...add limiting calories to 1000-1200 per day on that plan, adding gentle exercise - walking, yoga.. And i can slowly lose weight and not feel hungry.

On 1000-1200 calories 20gr carbs , 70 gr proteins (80 +280 =360 cal) fat = 640-840 cal= 65 to 90 gr of fat a day. My 4- meals world have a bit more fat than protein at every meal + 5 gr of carbs a meal. ( i don't cut carbs from greens veggies (lettuce, herbs, spinach, cucumber, celery...)

I also do IT - intermittent Fasting. Only eating within 8-10 hr window in every 24 hr time. That what works for me.  Plus - limit sugar from all sources - that includes fruits.

I would eat fruits once a week or so...torecarb. But only berries....and always with extra fat..(to slow down absorbtion of the sugar)

Thanks..H.a.l.a........ I might just try your plan.......I bought healthy protein forward foods yesterday (Sunday) with fruits and fresh veggies......will have to figure out carbs better on fruit to cut back that much.....but I really appreciate the input.......I will let you know when I try your plan.
