Back On Track Together
Thursday cafe and cardio. Back on track.
I had a couple of days really really off track eating. Candies and stuff. Ugh.
But i turned it around yesterday. Yesterday i had a day of low carbs, and good foods.
Today is going to be also a good day.
Some ideas for comfort food when getting back on track:
Avocado chocolate pudding: blend avocado with some coconut milk, cocoa powder and sweetener.
Low carbs pancakes ~ sweet or savery - or made as wraps: mix eggs with some coconut milk, add coconut flour, ground chia seeds, pinch of baking powder or baking soda , salt, and either sweetener or some spices ( i picked caraway seeds and bit more salt) . Very filling and good with anything.
The rest of food should be chicken, chicken soup, some pork, maybe eggs...
Lots of coffee and water.

Low carb pancakes sound great! Sounds almost crepe-like and maybe could be filled with something savory, too!
I am trying to get a couple of protein shakes in every day to be able to get my protein levels up. So, starting the day with that.
Protein shake and coffee
Peppered turkey for a snack
Pulled pork and salad for lunch
Another shake
More pulled pork tonight, probably wrap in lettuce with tomatoes, avocado and cilantro (taco style).
Started some Physical Therapy on my foot/ankle. Hoping a few weeks with that and stretching will get me back to some extended walking. More blood work Monday and then back to the doc for a plan. Hoping they will take my parathyroid out altogether!
Great plan.
Looks like i missed your post on foot /ankle.. Did you injured it?
A few years ago i damaged my ankle. I could not walk and could not put any weight on it. Out was block and blue. I knew it was not broken, so instead of going to a doc i did a lot of acupuncture and my ankle was much better in 4 weeks, and as good as new in 6 months, with no residue pain. I also did a lot of herbal wraps, use stabilizing bracelet, and lot of home based physical therapy.

I used to play a lot of softball and was forever spraining my ankle. About 10 years ago, I took a bad fall and it was bad for a few days. I should have had it looked at but didn't. The past couple of years I have felt like I am suffering from plantar fasciitis, but it has now gotten unbearable. Like maybe a bone spur is involved, and also my ankle is killing me. Perhaps a fallen arch contributing? Not sure, but between my bum right knee and my now, bad left food and ankle, I'm not good at walking! lol
Had not thought of doing acupuncture, but I'll probably give it a shot if they cannot resolve this through PT or an orthotic.
Thanks for the response!
