Congrats on all those steps!!!

1. Finish the Whole30.  Well... it became more like a "Whole25". Definitely going back to it though, because I felt great!!

I lost 17 lbs... but bumped up 4, so that leaves me with 13. I'll take that. (Goal was 15)

I donated 14 pairs of shoes.  I feel much lighter. lol

The last goal was to update my blood work, and I had that done on Tuesday but do not have results yet.

So I'm giving this a B.... and looking forward to next month!

Hi,

I didn't do the October challenge but I needed to. I 'm in for the November one for sure. I need to get super strict with my eating as I don't do a lot of exercise because of my knees. Congrats on your success!

well... it was not my best month...but not the worst either...

My goals for October 2014 were:

1. Smile a lot - be happy - I have to think about and write it down - at least one good thing per day. (about me, or anything in my life - ) - for first 2 weeks - I did good.. after that the stress really got to me...

2. Gut healing diet - very strict - very challenging... but I can do it....(eliminate FODMAP foods, also any scratches...or any food not recommended for SIBO or leaky gut). Clean eating - no food I am allergic to, or have intolerance, no wine, no soft drinks, no artificial sweeteners.  (stevia is OK, saccharine - only when I can't get stevia) Most of the time till not very badly I did good most of the time. This week I gave up and ate some things that I know I should not... but still not bad...

3. No wine... or any other alcohol - yea, right... when I went to Alaska... I drank way too much...

4. Walking -  my goal is to have walked at least 30 miles in 30 days.... with the only miles that count are the one that I can do in continuous intervals.. (so walking to and from the car, or grocery shopping does not count) - nope.

5. Yoga - 2-3 times a week  when I am in town. When not in Town - I need to make sure I walk. nope.

6. Take all my vitamins and minerals.  80%...

7. Drink 80-120 oz of water.. (no less no more)  most days

Enjoy life and outdoors...  most days

My goals for October: 1. Start exercising Done. Met with my trainer and got my assessment completed.

 2. Eating back on track.  Well, was doing really well. Had a rough day with the halloween candy. Have to get it out of the house. I know the cause. My mom is here visiting and I'm just over it. Stretched beyond limits. I'm quite proud I've lasted this long without digging into it before now. Ugh.

 3. Find a support group meeting to attend -  didn't get this one met. Thought about it, but didn't get done.

 4. Bring in family and friends for continued support and encouragement. -   Had a great talk with my hubby regarding this process. Talked to 2 of my closest friends. Plan on texting them more during this process for accountability.

That's about it. Eager to have a full month of working out and losing weight. My therapist comes back from maternity leave at the end of the month. And just keep taking it one day at a time.
