Back On Track Together
October challenge.....how are we doing?
Overall i am doing OK. It took me a few days this week to get over carb cravings...but once i did, staying on plan was easy. When i don't eat starches, i don't crave them, i get hungry, but food is not very appealing. I eat, but it is easy to stop once the real hunger is gone, and before i get full.
Taking vitamins and minerals. Wine - i had a few glasses this week, but no more than 1 full serving per evening, and even that mixed with water. And only chardonnay...so low carb. I like mixing my wine with diet Tonic, or water with lemon and some ice. Like a low call, low carb Spitzer.
Have are you doing?

TGIF! Good for you, getting past the carb monster!
I am on day 9 of Whole30. I refuse to give up the (artificially sweetened, non-dairy) creamer in my morning coffee, but other than that, and a glass of wine last night, I am staying on track. As of this morning, I am down 15 lbs. Just amazing the amount of inflammation that existed in me, just from eating a junk diet. I'm taking my vitamins on schedule and just ordered some more. My only real struggle is getting 85 gms of protein in a day. So I'm adding that to my goals.
(Still haven't given any shoes away, though!) Have a great weekend!
Not bad, not good. Just okay. Haven't been tracking consistently, which is not a good thing.
No gym yesterday, but great day of motorcycling. Made good food choices, just more cals than I should have had. Vit's no problem, water usually no problem, but didn't drink enough. Hard to keep on top of fluids when riding.
