hey everyone took me a while to figure out how to make post in this group. but I think im getting the hang of it.. anyway.. I posted in the VSG page about how I had surgery about 3 yrs ago. I did great. I met a guy and got engaged 3 months of the engaged he started to be come over protective and controlling then quickly turned to abusive, this coming nov. will be a year since we broke up. and over the 1 1/2yr together and not being allowed to go to the gym I have gained 30lbs back. im sure drinking had a big part of the weight being put back on. ok so that's the basics of whats going on.. yes I still have emotional issues over what happened, but I am trying to stay strong and keep pushing forward. I have gotten myself back into the gym and started to run 2 miles aday , then 3, and now im up to 4 Miles aday!! I am so proud of myself and not only am I running 4 miles but I can do it with easy now. every week it seems to get easier and easier for me. I can run at nice pace for about 15-20mins then I walk for about 5 then back to running. I have lost about 10lbs since I been running. even tho its been a lot slower then after my surgery. but im sure  I will get back to where I was. and reach my GOAL weight!!

Congratulations for:  stopping the abuse cycle, getting back on track - mostly for recognizing you deserve it!
