My goals were:

1. No wine...

2. Walking -  my goal is to have walked at least 30 miles in 30 days....

3. Yoga - 2-3 times a week when I am in town. When not in Town - I need to make sure I walk.

4. Clean eating - no food I am allergic to, or have intolerance, no wine, no soft drinks, no artificial sweeteners.  (stevia is OK, saccharine - only when I can't get stevia)

5. Take all my vitamins and minerals.

6. Drink 80-120 oz of water.. (no less no more)

7. Smile a lot - be happy - I have to think about and write it down - at least one good thing per day. (about me, or anything in my life - )

Enjoy life and outdoors....

how did I do?

1. Failed - complete fail.. I had more days when I had wine than days that when I did not..

2. Walked enough on vacation - so I know I met my goal... and then some...

3. I did very good first week of the month with yoga, but then I got so busy and ready to travel that I had probably only 1 sessions... But walking was OK.

4. I think I did quite well with that.. I had a few slip-ups ... and paid for that....and I had wine... overall - not too bad...(if you don't count the wine)

5. Very good with that...

6. Very good with that....

7. O yea... vacation helped..

Overall I met or really worked on my goals except the wine... yea - I like wine.. can't you tell? and it helps with digestion... And I lost some weight... and my cloths fit me better...even though I did not wanted to put official challenge for lbs loss on my list...

Oh, September wasn't a total fail, but could have been better.......

1. no cola or chips.......although I did have cola and chips, it wasn't as much as normal......I did cut WAY back.

2. Off sweetners..........went back to using sweetner because I don't like tea or coffee without it.....I tried  !

3.  Protein first.............did ok on this , but just ate too many carbs afterward

4.  5lb weight loss....... I lost one pound...

gotta get my head in the game !

Slow and steady !!!!  Have a Blessed Day !!!!!!

its a good start... now October...

as for sweeteners - have you tried stevia? the liquid one - most of the liquid once don't have dextrose or sugar... I know some people hate it.. for me - it is wonder drug..

Howe about saccharine?  I read somewhere - Some studies tell that the very old - saccharine (the pink packets) are the least toxic and they only reason they got bad name because study to discredit that were paid by- for  the newer artificial sweeteners companies..If I don't have stevia - I use saccharine..

i would love to lose 5# this month. To do that, I will need to: exercise 5x per week. Leaving Friday for a myrtle beach vacation and will walk 30 minutes (hopefully more) per day. stop eating in bed/night time grazing. Planned snack ok not eat standing up further limit refined carbs fortunately I'm good with water and vitamins This morning, I'm greatful for my husband and that I have a job that I love on most days!

so, did not lose a single pound.  Did start exercising more and cut back on artificial sweeteners.  Looking forward to a new month.

I DO have a fitbit... just bought it about a month ago.  I wear it all the time, but, have ignored it a little the past couple weeks.  RESTART.
