Well......Labor Day weekend went by way too fast, but I did accomplish what needed to be done to get my kitchen and baths ready for granite countertops thanks to my sons for working their tails off !!   The granite guy will be here Thursday to measure again, because we changed the configuration in the kitchen a little.

my eating for last week must have been horrendous because I gained two pounds !! 😩.  Back on track !!  😁

my morning vits are in and my 32oz. Water jug is on my desk.........usually drink three if them here at work....

breakfast.........coffee/ miralax/protein powder

snack..............2 mandarin oranges

lunch...............salad w/beef and cheese....applesauce (cafeteria fare)

snack...............2 mandarins oranges ( I was in a hurry this morning and grabbed 4 oranges, but didn't have time to throw lunch together)

dinner...............leftovers from weekend.....pork, ham, beans ??  And veggies....

snack...............SF pudding ?

everyone have a GREAT DAY !    Got my fitbit on and trying for ten thousand steps today !!  Did it twice last week....usually average about 6,000 steps.......need to pick up the pace !!  😊

Good morning!.  

I took my Kitten to be fixed. The poor thing was trying to chew his way out from the carrier.. I think they know when they are being taken to the vet. 

I will pick him up after work.  Poor fella... I am getting really attached to the little mischievous kitten - Dewey. 

Today I will not go to yoga (need to pick Dewey-baby and stay with him at home to monitor how is he feeling)  I plan to do some housework and just overall moving around. Need to run some errands.

I overdid wine and food over the weekend and the scale show 3 lbs gain.. and last 2 weeks I was drinking too much wine (not every day) so my scale was already up 3 lbs - so now i have to get rid of the 6 lbs.. + the last 8.. total 14... but I know i can do it.. 

eats: 

coffee + miralax

Tea, water

protein shake; protein cookies.

burger and cucumbers

beef roast + green beans.

LNS: nuts..

 

Good stuff per day challenge: 

Yesterday: Last night my cat brought me a dead mole.. that cats way telling you they love you..Plus she is getting used to Dewey - the baby, Every day gets better between them... She still smacks him and chases him down,  and growls, but he can get closer and closer to her...

Hi Hala

You can work your plan and get back down....not to worry.  You've inspired me over the years.  In the long run Dewey will be better off fixed.  My dog growing up always ran away...he must have been frustrated.  Our cat and 2 dogs have all been fixed and seem more calm.  Tri

Hi Waysta

I am sure the pounds are from extra salt in holiday food.  It will come off quickly.  I love granite countertops because you can put hot pans on them and when you put your coffee cup down on them there is a solid click as the 2 stones meet.  I can't imagine doing more than one room at a time, but you did it!  How was your new grandbaby?  I skype with my grandkids but I miss them.  We will see them in November...can't wait.  Tri

The granite guy will be back on Thursday to re-measure because we accidentally reconfigured the kitchen sink cabinet......just bought a kitchen sink cabinet....our old one was 42 inches...new one is 36.  My son built a 3 shelf cubby to make up the difference...we had a 3 inch spacer so the total cabinet is 9 inches wide...I think I will love it....I really like how it looks !!  We decided to just get everything done while we were doing.....it is a lot of work, but will be SO worth it....then before Oct. we are getting a metal roof put on !!

I actually had 7 of my 9 Grandkids here this weekend while their Daddies worked on my house....a whole lotta loving going on !!  Several neighbors dropped by for visits....I had a busy weekend but I loved it all !!  

I hadn't thought about the salty foods contributing to weight gain, but I am sure you are right.  Don't weigh again until next Monday so I just need to get back on track....

Exercise is cleaning/decorating a bedroom.  

My eating plan:

B: none

S: 1/8 slice of cantaloupe, veggie soup, salad

L: 4 oz. beef, real cheddar cheese, pretzel roll

S: 1/8 slice of cantaloupe, salad

D: 4 oz. beef, 6 Triskets, 4 light laughing cows, pretzel roll

S:lettuce roll up with chicken breast (not on the plan), green onion and water chestnuts
