Tuesday cafe and cardio...

Hello friends...

My protein cookis taste too good... I ate too many if them last night... But not big harm done. Except calories. The cookies are full of proteins. 

Today is going to be busy day. Eye doc appointment, followed by a busy day...and another doc appointment, and yoga..and ...ugh...

Eats:

Coffee w Miralax x2 plus some morning supplements. 

Tea and water. More of same.

Egg frittata

Protein shake

Protein cookies or some nuts

Protein shake after yoga.

Dinner: chicken with veggies. 

Lns : nuts.

I am going to make your protein cookies as soon as life slows down a little !!   Sounds like something I can keep at school and eat when the mid-afternoon munchie**** !  

Exercise..........up and down step-ladder, arm workout painting !!!  Spent a couple of hours painting my newly textured bathroom walls last night...still needs a second coat, but I do like how it is looking.  I hope to finish them tonight.  

My eats for today.......morning vits taken.....drinking tea and water......stopped diet cokes 3 weeks ago !!

breakfast............coffee/miralax/protein elixir 

snack.................applesauce

lunch..................chicken fajita and salad

snack..................protein bar

Dinner.................tuna casserole (leftovers from last night)

if you play with the cookies - as they dry - they taste even sweeter...  I like making sandwich cookies - just use some almond butter..  a few (really a few) raisins in the batter add a little surprise .. (I did not use that this time)

What is your cookie recipe? Always looking for something sweet for the afternoon when I crave it the most.

I don't follow specific recipe. Just put things together and bake. Look at my past posts- i have general recipe how and what I do. 

In general - i replace flour in cookies recipe with protein powder, add some more eggs, (at least double) some baking powder. I use stevia s sweetener, mix all, taste the batter. Needs to be sweeter than the final product. Make cookies, bake.  That's all. 

I add nuts or little bit of raisins. If batter too runny add more protein powder or filters like nuts or flax meal. If too stiff, add extra egg or water our coconut milk.  If the batter is good, cookies should be also. Not enough fat- will make cookies very dry. 

I add all ingredients in recipe creator in MFP.  I used a cookie scoop to make sure my cookies are roughly same size and can find out calories, protein,fat and carbs per cookie.
