Back On Track Together
Tuesday cafe and cardio...
Good morning everyone. I got busy yesterday... And had a day of gluttony. Really ... With a carb coma, followed by severe RH, and gut pain. Today this will result cause gas... horrible smelling gas,.. I hope the gas will only last 1-2 days...
That plus all the effects of allergy response (i am swollen and overheated. burning up...) plus due to wine over the weekend and the carbs overload yesterday (cheesecake, milk chocolate, bread , etc) my scale showed 7 lbs gain (4 days of bad eating). I know at least 5 lbs is jus****er due to carbs... and that will be gone in 2-3 days of good eating... the rest- give another week and I will be back to myself... )
Today :
Coffee w Miralax, and more coffee...
Lots of liquids....
Protein shake
Ham with veggies
Protein shake..., protein cookies..
D: chicken with veggies..
Lns: nuts
If I can deal with the gas- I plan on going to yoga...wish me luck...
remember: when following good diet - one day or even one week of gluttony will not make me fat .. as much as one week of proper eating would me me skinny... just doing good things long term - will give me results I am aiming for - or long term gluttony / overeating will make me fat...

This may sound awful, but I am glad to hear that you gain weight so easily. Everyone thinks that I can't possibly gain 5 lbs overnight.......they just don't know the fight most obese people have. I hope that you are feeling ok today. When I don't eat well, I might suffer a couple of hours and then I am fine.
My planned eats for today......vits taken....water started
breakfast.....coffee/miralax........
snack..........nothing
lunch...........chicken quesadilla ( I am having lunch provided because I am working school registration for the next three days !!). 😜. Drinking water .......no diet coke or tea today......I quit diet coke a couple of weeks ago and all forms of chips three weeks ago.......yay for me !!!
snack...........maybe some cheese
Dinner..........probably a sandwich since I will be getting home after 8 !! Long days when we register !
i hope all have a great day !!
I think anyone who follows a good diet - low carb- lots of of water - can gain 5-6 lbs in 24 hours or less...
it takes 2-3 weeks to lose 2 lbs but I can gain double that with one bad day of eating...(though I know most of it is water gain)
For normal people -on a normal american diet - they are full of it and full of water weight - and going on a diet - most people lose the first 5-10 lbs in 1-2 weeks.. then the fun begins - because some of them can even gain 2-3 lbs in week 3... even when they follow the same diet as week 1-2... simply the body fluctuate with the water and carbs and how to distribute everything. ..
I do get worry when I see new people coming on BOTT and get super excited about losing 5 lbs in the first week.. I worry because I know that one bad day of eating can put them back where they started and they can get discouraged and quit... I rather see them being realistic and see they understand that they mostly lose some water in the first 1-2 weeks.
