Good morning ...  At least for me it is.  Weather still gloomy here, but I have 10:30 appointment for massage.  I really need it.

I am having my coffee with Miralax, bacon is sizzling in George Foreman grill (I use that to make crispy bacon and to save bacon grease...(I use it).  Yes - I am on BOTT diet and I eat bacon. I do buy good bacon and I don't eat it every day... And I don't eat grains - none. No bread, pasta, corn, rice, etc.  Like Atkins diet. Except I also don't eat dairy or soy  (allergies)

I do miss it. All of it. Specially bread.  Ouch. But the pain is not worth it for me.

Will update later.

Update:

The massage was great.  Then on a way home I HAD to stop in one of "my" consignment stores and scored 3 jackets - on 60% off already low prices.  One was Chico- nice jacket - I like their stuff but I am not willing to pay a full price for them.

2 hours later.... I got home, had some extra coffee and we went to a dinner and a movie.

Eats today:

Coffee and more coffee. With Miralax

Tea, water

Epic protein bar + protein cookies

Almond butter (1 pouch - I was hungry)

Burger with bacon, tomato slice, few sweet potato fries + glass of wine

Protein cookies during the movie...water.

Ginger tea - maybe nuts as LNS.

My protein cookies have lots of fiber - I had too many servings today.. Normally I have 1 serving a day... Ugh... Fiber is good - but too much fiber = pressure.

Sunday already!

yesterday:

coffee, miralax, coffee, coffee

B- two eggs, 2% cheese, 1/2 wheat sand which thin

L-salad (at wegman's...this store didn't have all the options the one in my neighborhood does) w/ a little tuna and egg salads for protein.

D- 1/2 Morningstar spicy black bean burger and 1/2 wegman's veggie garbanzo bean burger, each with 1/2 slice 2% cheese, salad! corn on the cob

snacks: Yasso frozen Greek yogurt bar (caramel sea salt-yum), nuts and plenty of them, handful of goldfish crackers - thank God they are gone now!

little too much snacking, but overall a great day.  Starting to think about my choices a little more instead of the automatic hand-to-mouth, thoughtless eating.

You doing great.  BTW - I also have munches late at night.  I can't help it. That's when I can't say "no" to myself.  This year I gave up trying to fight it and I plan high calorie snack at night. Typically it needs to be something with fat and proteins and some carbs.

To compensate for calories - I don't eat or eat very little in the morning - and start eating at lunch.  Morning is also time when I am seldom hungry and really had to make myself eat.

Sunday - again funny cool weather in SC - unreal in August..  We should have low 80's today.  Nice .

Love my coffee in the morning.  Taking bunch of supplements in the morning with my coffee is my breakfast. Looks like I dropped another lb... Now sitting at 161-162.. That's down from 176lbs in May. Looks like roughly 1 lb a week.  And my body is adjusting and my cloths fit better.

It is funny how we lose weight and the body just keeps the shape/size - then we lose 1-2 lb and drop a size.... Unreal.

Eats:

Coffee + Miralax and more coffee

Green tea

Brunch: not sure, depends if BF have eggs and bacon for breakfast or only waffles. If he gets light breakfast - we have eggs bacon and veggies together around noon. If he has them for breakfast - we will have some meat and veggies at lunch.

Snacks : protein cookies, protein shake, etc.

Dinner: not sure again - but some meat or fish and veggies - again depends what I feel like and where we eat.

We may go for a walk today...with weather like that is a must. Nice and cool.

Susan, I don't follow a recipe.  I just put things together and instead of flour I use my own mixture of  protein powder mixed with almond or coconut flour and some ground chia or flax seeds.   Add eggs, coconut oil, some water, stevia and baking powder - once the base is thick - (the ground chia or flax has a lot of fiber) I add extra nuts and or coconut flakes, form into cookies and bake that.  If my batter taste good - my cookies will be good.  I use lots of ginger and pumpkin pie spices.  ( good for me).. I like to make 5-6 dozens and dry them so they keep long time without fridge ( like in a car, purse, etc).  The batter must be very very sweet for the risen baked cookies to be sweet.   I used to use just whey protein mixed with flax meal 1/2 cup whey + 1 oz flax meal, 1 -2 tsp baking powder, 4 eggs, 2 TBS coconut oil, and vanilla + pinch of salt + sweetener to taste.   Mix well and add enough water to make batter (like for cake) .  let stand 5-10 min. Add "fillers" - more chia or flax or nuts or raisins

, or coconut flakes...with no fillers - make muffins.  Or just small cakes. With "fillers" get cookies ...

Hello Ladies,

Hope all is well. Been away on vacation to Charlotte NC enjoying and staying with old friends. I tried as best as I could to stick to my eating and dietary plan, but when you're staying with others who are not on the same program  it is hard.  Everything they cooked was fried or drenched in butter...and OMG they were heavy handed with the salt. Most of my meals consisted of eggs, (hard boiled, or scrambled) and tuna. If I never see another can of tuna fi**** will be too soon for me!!! Lol.

While my friends were aware of my WLS I really felt bad and out of place as I watched them killing themselves with the food they were eating and getting sick at the same time. They kept telling me I didn't know what I was missing and I assured them...yes I do!!! Heart attack, stroke, high blood pressure, etc.  It is sooo good to be home!!!!
