1 hour pulling weeds and spreading mulch on another garden in the yard.  It never ends all spring to fall.  I do find that it relaxes me.  I love the animals that come into the yard.  Rabbits, squirrels, birds and deer enjoy eating my plants.  Especially after a winter like last year.

Good morning Granny!! Congratulations on another Jewel in your crown.

It's been chaotic around here for the past few days. I'm looking forward to some much needed downtime. We had a memorial service for the neighborhood teenage on Friday night. It was planned and carried out by the children of the neighborhood (with some help from the Moma's). It was a very remarkable evening. Saturday was the summer picnic for the nursing home where my Aunt lives. She turned 89 yesterday so that was a pretty big deal for her. SHe thought the whole picnic was in her honor....but so did the majority of the residents. She's always loved a store/bakery bought birthday cake so yesterday I showed up with Balloons, flowers, candy and cupcakes. She hid the cupcakes...said she wasn't sharing. God I love this woman. She's always been quirky but to see it now with that childlike innocence is even more charming.

Back tot eh topic at hand. Today's eats:

commute: coffee

Breakfast: Slice of ham & whole wheat toast

Lunch: Frozen entree & side salad

snack: Fresh Peach & smoked almonds

Dinner: Turkey breast, green beans & squash

Yall remember to get those vitamins in and drink tha****er.

Happy that only two more work days this week! I am ready for a three day weekend!!
B-thin hamburger with cheese.

L-protein bar.

D-fajita meat with cheese.

S-Cheeze it bag (vending machine)

I cannot allow myself the cheese its any longer, it is becoming a bad, bad habit! So I will have to plan ahead and bring a low carb or no carb snack to work. It feels as though when I eliminate one carb, I start sneaking in another one. I will not be successful that way!!
