Decided since no one else has done this today, that I would...

granddaughter Zoey Paulette (Paulette is my middle name !!!) They didn't tell me. arrived Friday afternoon after Mom had to have a c-section.  :(.   Both Mom and baby are doing well and probably get to come home today !!!  Can you say excited ?  Hubby and I have been keeping the other three  (3 1/2 year old twins and a 9 year old).... Plus we have been mowing yard, posting welcome home signs, and deep cleaning house.....I get to stay at least a week to help out.  Plan to do all cooking and cleaning and let Mom heal.   Enough Grandma bragging for today !

According to My Fitness Pal....I would lose 15 lbs in 5 weeks if I continue to eat as I have for the past few days !!  Yeah, right ?? These predictive things never work for people like me.

on to food for today...

breakfast....coffee/miralax.      Scrambled egg/bacon

snack..........watermelon

lunch..........turkey sandwich....tea

snack..........pineapple

dinner..........I am cooking a beef roast, potatoes, and carrots......new Mom's favorite meal.....

snack.........??

i hope everyone has a day as Blessed as mine !

Slow and steady !!!!  Have a Blessed Day !!!!!!

Congratulations on your new baby granddaughter.  I love big families because my family typically had one child per couple.  Many of us have PCOS.  With fertility drugs, I was able to have several children.  Kids and grandkids are little blessings.  My mom used to help me a lot with the kids.  She was the best grandma I could have asked for.  Your daughter will appreciate all that you do for her.

I have moved 12 wheelbarrows of mulch across the yard.  Today I will put out top soil and plant grass seed and 3 bushes.  Then I can move onto a new area of the yard.

The wedding was a lot of fun.  I drank 2 glasses of champagne which is my favorite.  I skipped dessert and the rest of the meal was lean wedding food. Good to see old friends.  Many of them gained more than me, so I didn't feel self conscience.  It was on a lake at a beautiful resort.  The large patio overlooked the lake and they had a fire going.  Inside we had a great time dancing to many decades of music.

Before my wls blew up on me, we used to have parties with many groups of friends.  Being in a funk for the past several years, I haven't had the desire to entertain like I used to.  I need to turn this around.  Too many relationships have dwindled.

My eats for today:

S: nature valley protein bar 190

B: 3 eggs and whole wheat toast (restaurant food with a large carryout) 350

L: restaurant carryout skillet (meat, potatoes, veggies, feta cheese) 500

D: 1/2 chicken breast, 2 slices whole wheat bread 300

S: salad: lettuce, tomato , cucumber, sunflower seeds, Italian dressing croutons 250

S: 1/2 cup ice cream 150
