Good Morning!!! I may like my new scales afterall. They showed a tiny movement in the right direction.  I'll take it. It's a brand new day and I for one am quite excited about it. I've got the morning vitamins taken care of. Big glass of water on my desk waiting for me (just got to finish up this delicious cup of coffee).

The eats for today:

commute: coffee

Breakfast: scrambled eggs & cheese

lunch: Frozen entree & side salad

snack: Cheese stick & nuts

dinner: ??? (Thinking rotisserie chicken)

Exercise tonight is going to be a marathon house cleaning session. Everything needs sweeping and mopping - Yikes!!! Not to mention the doggie nose prints on the sliders and other windows. It'll make for a good work out.

Yall have a great day. Don't forget your vitamins and lots and lots of water.

Woke up early and hungry this am! Had migraine yesterday and ate nothing because I felt so ill. I am pleased that I am at 190 and I am hoping by next week to go below that and be in the 180's which I have not seen for a few years!! I think when I graduated nursing school in 2011 I was 186 and from there I kept going up until I was 205. Looking forward to Saturday as my one and only child, my Audrey, will be turning 24 on June 30th and we will celebrate on Saturday. I am taking her out for a shopping spree, lunch and dinner where ever she wants!! So I will need to be mindful while dining out with her!
PLAN FOR THE DAY-
B-COFFEE AND RICE AND BEANS(I KNOW THE RICE IS MAJOR CARBY)
L-PLANS FOR GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST.
D-PROTEIN BAR
not sure what I will have for a snack yet.
Make it an awesome day!!

How is the new Kitchen? All done and finished?

Back from Florida and doing OK.  I was lucky because I was able to get on 2 earlier delayed flights and got home around 8 pm. Usair had massive delays due to the weather and turbulences ( that probably caused some mechanical issues with planes) and if I did not catch the earlier delayed flights - there was a good possibility that I would either not get home until past midnight - or even get stuck overnight in Charlotte.

The only huge bummer is that I lost my fitbit flex in charlotte airport. There was so many people and trying to run through the airport  I end up bumping into people - so either someone snagged off of my wrist (possibility) or somehow it got loose - and fell off my wrist..

I plan to contact charlotte airport lost and found - and also fitbit.. Those trackers have serial numbers so maybe they can help trace it if someone will try to activate it.

I am under 170 people... 10-12 lbs more to go...

Eats today:

coffee + miralax x 2

green tea

Protein shake

proteins shake

protein cookies

protein shake

some food... meat and veggies..

LNS: a few nuts..

when I travel - my gut does not work that well and I learn to take it easy and try to make sure things are moving... IYKWIM..

How do (did) you like the fit bit? I hope it turns up for you.

The kitchen remodel is almost finished. The flooring is in and sealed. It looks AMAZING. The new gas range is a dream come true. We agreed on  yellow semi-gloss paint for the walls that is just about the perfect yellow. It reminds me of sunflowers (not school buses, mustard or jaundice). The only thing left to do is move the fridge back into place as soon as the trim mouldings are tacked back into place (tomorrow). We decided to replace the dishwasher so I'll be handwashing for probably a month to accomodate that little investment that we hadn't budgeted for. I'm okay with that. Not a whole lot of cooking goes on in the summer time inside anyway so I have no problem grilling and paper plating for the majority of meals. You would know that the washing machine would spring a leak the night before we were to seal the grout in the laundry room. Luckily it was jus****er so we've dried that out and taken care of sealing the tile. I think the Skinny Man has found the source of the leak and fixed that....if not another blow to the appliance budget will be on the horizon. YUCK!

I liked the fitbit flex.. but... I did not really walked that much.. so it mostly told me what I was not doing.. ha!

But on days I met my little goal of 8,000 steps - it felt good...

I don't like to do cardio much because of my adrenal issues - and low blood sugar.. I do beston low impact - exercise like yoga.  even walking has to be in no more than 20-30 min intervals..

A few times I got really low BS while on a treadmill and now i just look at the machine and feel as if my BS is dropping.. Low BS feels for me like a major panic attack.. and I hate it with passion... I rather give up most of the foods that can cause that even only once in a while than risk getting the low BS shakes, heart palpitations, narrow vision fields, blacking out etc..

My body do not make enough cortisol so when my BS drops  - it has to drop really low before my system start responding.. and when it does - the whole panic system - cortisol -adrenaline - and all supporting things go crazy...

Good to hear your kitchen is almost done. Looks like the skinny man is quite a handy man.

Oh, I forgot.... I have the Fitbit Flex....I really like it, but wish I had purchased the Fitbit One.....they cost the same, but the flex has to be synced on iphone, ipad, computer to see exactly how many steps you have actually taken, and the One tells you right on the unit.  Plus the One "grows" a flower and vine to show you at a glance where you are , it doesn't just flash lights ...like the Flex......only thing I like better on the Flex is that you can  it on your wrist and not have it attached to your pants or on your bra.   I love the sleep cycle aspect that comes on both units......let's you know how well you sleep.  I will probably get a One sometime in the future.

Slow and steady !!!!  Have a Blessed Day !!!!!!
