Wednesday Cafe and Cardio
Today I have a ton of gardening to do. Today it is supposed to be sunny and cool so it is a good day to weed. Not the most fun part of gardening but necessary and it burns a lot of calories too.

Today I am actually in my own home chilling. Leaving in the morning for Midland. My daughter in law is being induced Friday morning, so I will have a new Grandbaby by the weekend ! Don't know how long I will be away from home this time. Depends on if she has a c-section or not. Pray for her that she can have a vaginal birth after a caesarean. Her dr. says she is looking good for natural birth. We will see.
My five day trip didn't hurt my weight....I weighed exactly what I weighed when I left. ☺️ I am determined not to gain this summer.....last summers 15 lbs are clinging to me and not wanting to leave !

On Monday I had my 6 year follow up appointment with my surgeon. My half way goal was to be at 168 or below in my doc office. And... I met it.
I was 166.6 on my doc scale . wot wot .. That is 12 lbs from the weight I was in beginning of May. I guess sticking to my diet works.
10-12 lbs more and I will be a very happy - size 6 - 8 person. That should take another 2-3 months ... The lower body fat % we have the slower the weight loss is.
My goal is to be under 160... Ideal 155 -160... That will take more work.
I am on business trip now coming home today. Yesterday - food wise I did great. But...I had as few glasses of wine.. But that was yesterday, today is a new day,
Today will be traveling. Changing planes, etc. Food wise - I have nuts, protein cookies and plan to grab some roasted chicken and veggies.
Food:
Yesterday: coffee (x 3), cold cuts, tuna salad, veggies; peanuts; protein cookies; 2 small lobster tails with butter, couple bites of sweet potato; 3 glasses of wine...; 2 protein cookies..
Today planned:
Coffee x 3;
2 protein cookies;
meat (chicken?) + veggies
Peanuts
Protein cookies
Water water water
My vitamins... And minerals... Need to make sure to replace my minerals. The wine and Florida are both dehydrating. I had some muscle twitching in a middle of the night.

I miss my tiny garden. When it was time to plant this spring my knees were no where near being cooperative so I settled on a few tomatoes in pots. They look puny & pitiful BUT they do have tomatoes on them. My new scales came in last night....unfortunately they're accurate. I can do this!! I can do this!! I can do this!!! Drinking lots of water today and getting up and moving more often than I have been. Pool therapy for the knee tonight so I'm actually looking forward to the exercise.
