Hey everyone. The weather forecast said possibility of rain...but we had a great day.

We just relax, did some housework and went to a movie.

I saw some no gluten, low carb bread-like recipe.  So I decided to make it. The smell was off but taste great.  I end up with 2 mini loafs.  I ate almost half of one before I finished putting recipe in and realizing how many calories it had.  In 10 minutes I consumed over  500 calories.. holly smoke !!!!   That was breakfast and lunch.  I had to skip the snack.

We saw movie: "The Edge of Tomorrow" in IMAX 3 D.... Wow.. Great movie.

The got home and had a meal.

In the morning, while I was cooking and doing stuff... I cut my index finger on my left hand. I cut it really deep. It hurts. Poor finger.  I hope I don't need stiches.  It had been over 7 hours and it is still bleeding .. I have it wrapped really good.  So let's hope no major damage.

Today eats:

Coffee+ coffee with Miralax. Tea

Paleo bread + 2 beef franks

Water

Keema + veggies

LNS:  ham and nuts.

Exercise... Just housework...and checking each other for ticks...

I will probably go to bed early, the finger really hurts and Tylenol only helps a little. Stronger pill may be required.

Vitamins for today: 2 servings down, one to go.

today got away from me.  Days like today make me realize that my weight loss journey is going to be very difficult.  I wish I had some limitations from my surgery.  It would be so much easier if I would feel food in my pouch.  It is what it is though and I will just work harder tomorrow.  I had a nice day though.  Sang for 2 hours, went out to lunch and BBQ'd in the evening.  Not too much exercise though.  Tri

HUGS.. I know... I reset my pouch recently.  I drank just proteins for 2 days. Then ate some real food - steak - and some veggies. 4 oz staeak and I was stuffed for hours..

here is food that do not fill me up: fish, chicken and pork - that I can eat and eat and eat..

But eggs and bacon or steak and veggies - and i will be full for a few hours.

But if i add starches to the mix (i.e. potato)  - it feels like my pouch is fully open - no restriction...

Now - I try to limit not only the food choices (I avoid starchy carbs and sugars - including fruits) but the time I eat. I only eat between 12pm- 10 pm.. at most. I do try to push my starting time to 1 or 2.. and some days it work.

I do drink black coffee and green tea (no calories added - but I use stevia in coffee).

That plus pouch limitation + portion limitation helps me now...

It is drastic - but this works for me..

Thanks for your help.  You are an inspiration to me.  I know you have so many allergies etc. and yet your determination to keep off weight is incredible.  I will try some of your ideas.  I simply have to eat less and move more.  We can do this!!  Thanks, Tri
