Protein ideas - Shakes and snacks
Hey everyone,
Hope you're all having a great day! I need a few ideas on recipes for protein shake, I normally use chocolate whey skim milk and a little peanut butter but I am finding that really tiresome.
Also for protein snack ideas all I have right now is meatballs and cheese... why my brain can't think of anything I don't know... any help/ideas/suggestions I would appreciate?
I'm restarting tomorrow and focusing on protein and cutting out processed sugars and wheat... If you were restarting would you eat hummus and veggies or would you stay away from that for the time being?

For a quick protein snack idea: harb boiled eggs, my ownrotein muffins or cookies (check eggface blog), protein ice cream, protein pudding (add proteins to SF pudding) . mix plain Greek yogurt with SF pudding mix, top with whip cream. Used to love the cheesecake flavor. (Then found out I was allergic to dairy - the proteins ). Cold cuts tools weith cheese and some veggies (tomato, or pickle). Egg bites - per eggface

hard boiled eggs, deli thin sliced ham or turkey for roll-ups, spread with cream cheese and wrap up a dill pickle, peanut butter or cream cheese spread in celery sticks, beef jerky, make "muffin quiches", "muffin meatloaf", Beef hot dogs, breakfast sausages, if you are desperate there is tofu :-(
