Hi there - I'm new here :)

Hi everyone!  I'm the new girl on the block.

I had my RNY surgery in July 2007.  Nearly 7 years ago.

After the first year until now I have been eating poorly, but luckily have not gained it all back.

I got my weight down to 135.  I weight 157 now.  It's not so much the weight as that's just a number.
What I really want is to eat well for my body and look good.  None of my clothes fit anymore and I just feel lousy.

I told myself I'd start today but failed.  I think that is a lot because I wasn't prepared.

So I want to prepare.

I am wondering what type of foods are ok to have.

I know sugars and carbs are out.  That is what I love to eat.

What about protein shakes?  Yogurt?

Thanks so much!
Sarah

Hi Sarah...welcome!

It seems that we all eat differently.  We do what we can do.  We all are trying to lose or maintain weight losses.  I find it very helpful to see what other people eat.  take care, Tri
