Back On Track Together
Challenge - Check in
I know quite a few of us were setting goals for our summer challenge....it's not to late to join in. How's it going? Judging by the amount of posts last week, it looks and sounds like we're all on the right track.
I managed my half gallon of water 4 days last week. I was fairly close on the fifth day and the 2 other days were just plain sorry in water consumption. And wouldn't you know those were the 2 days that I snacked the most. The benefits of staying well hydrated amaze me.
I'm going to say that the scales were in my favor for last week. The battery died this morning when I stepped on them. Right before the screen died it said I weighed 75 lbs. HA!!! Take that. Realistically I'd have to be limited to one arm, my head and half a leg to only weigh that.
Traveling for work the next few days so I'm not sure how much opportunity I'll have for posting. Dinner salads will be my go to menu item. Lots of water for certain. The hotel has a pool so I'm doing my PT in it during the evening hours when ****tails are the most tempting.
Yall have a great day.

I have been either traveling, or hosting family since school let out on May 30. Today is my first day to just be at home. My challenge is to lose 15 lbs. I have lost 2. Plan to concentrate on my intake more and exercise more. Need to paint our storage shed this week....that will up my movement and I will be sore from that I am sure. 😳
Keep your challenge going !!
Working on mine..
My goals are:
- get hydrated drinking lemon water and green and herbal teas - doing great there
- get moving - walking and gentle yoga.. goal- yoga 2-3 times a week, walking 3-4 times a week. One day rest - so far the only thing I did is yesterday hike, but plan to start yoga this week.
- get my allergy in check - applying very aggressive herbal /supplements protocol. - working on that,it is long term project.
- last but not least - lose 15 lbs and 2 dress sizes (tone). working on that. doing OK here. This morning the scale was kind and show me 169.5... that probably will last 5 min, and tomorrow I may be back in 170's but it has been a while when my scale was under 170... I take that...My goal is 160+/-5 lbs. My clothes fit me better..

I am chugging along. I lost a pound and then I ate 2000 calories the next day...ugh! I am back at it again though. Glad you are all doing well. I really need to be under 200 lbs. again. I know I can do that.

I am almost one year out from my RNY. I have lost 100 pounds since surgery, but I have become careless in my eating and drinking and worse than that about exercising. As a result, my monthly weight loss (glad I am still losing) has dropped to 3-4 pounds. That might not be so bad, except that I want to lose another 150 pounds. Can you say Four More Years? Neither can I. So my summer challenge is to lose 25 pounds by September 1. That may seem like a lot, but I am a big guy, and weight comes off me quickly when I do what I know I need to do. My first steps are going to be to cut down on carbs, drink my water, and start to exercise. I will also update the group on my progress once a week. Longer term, my goal is to lose 120 pounds by July 1, 2015. Best of luck to everyone, and thank you for your support.
