Monday - Challenged?

Last week we ended on the note of starting a summer challenge. Tri pointed out that there were 14 weeks til Labor Day. It's time to set those goals and put them out there so we can all help hold each other accountable. I know that I'm my own worst critic but yall amaze me as being the world's best cheerleaders. It's my understanding that this challenge is for each of us individually and not against each other.  Feel free to be creative in your goal setting but keep in mind how realistic you need to be.

Let the summer challenge begin!!!!!

I'm setting 2 measurable goals for myself:

#1 - 1/2 gallon of water every single day of the challenge. (I feel so much better when I'm completely hydrated)

#2 - Lose 10 lbs.

Good morning BOTTs.

I am challenged!

Goal:  Lose 10 pounds.

It's been a while since I have felt completely hydrated so I will work on that, as well.   It's been so long, in fact, that I don't recall how it feels!

Started out my day with greek yogurt.

I'm glad I read the posts in between friday and today because I had completely forgotten about lettuce wraps.  DUH!!!!!!!!  Sometimes just seeing the most basic foods reminds me of different healthier options to keeping on track.  There was a time when I wrapped iceburg lettuce around many things, Ie. turkey slices, veggie burgers, broiled fi**** satisfied a crunch and totally left off the carbs that always make me feel so crappy and pack on the lbs.  I need to get back into using cucumbers, also, I really like them with hummus  and I have NS pickles in my fridge....thanks Hala...I think I will pop open the jar and have a few when I get home.

Thanks for the activity on the board...it helps all of us!!

Have a great week, everyone.

Gaby

I'd like to be down 30 lbs or more by Labor Day. I don't know
it that's possible but I'm gonna try my hardest-which I haven't
been doing AT ALL!
It seems whining about being fat burns very few calories.

My challenge for myself is to lose 15 lbs and avoid restaurants ! 😳    With all the traveling planned, restaurants are inevitable !   I really need to work on ordering healthy......because I have already eaten out 4 times since Friday.   I did ok, but I could do better.

Slow and steady !!!!  Have a Blessed Day !!!!!!

Reading through these, I feel inspired. I cancelled my appointment with TrueResults weight loss center to see if I can try again to lose the 70 pounds of regain after my 2005 bypass. I was ready to revision, but I know I can gain control by going back to what I should be doing. I am thankful for the inspiration you all provide!
