Well gang, we've made it through another work week.

Things have been pretty quiet on the forum lately. Any thoughts or ideas on what we should be doing? I know I've benefitted from seeing the menus that yall typically eat. It may be as simple as seeing egg salad listed on someone's menu to remind me what a protein packed lunch option that is. It's so easy to get in a rut.

My plan today: Lots of water!!! Picked up a variety of Crystal Lights this morning at the grocery store as well as some quick frozen entrees for work lunches. The fridge is stocked with greek yogurts, celery sticks, hard boiled eggs & cheese. I've got a plan and I plan to use it.

Yall have a great day!!

Perhaps a challenge for the summer through Labor day would help us and others to buckle down. I really like this group.  Some of us only have a couple of regain pounds and some of us more.  I look at a couple other forums and many people have 40 lbs. of regain to lose.  I notice lots of people viewing our posts but not posting. There are 14 weeks until Labor day,  I would love to be under 200 lbs. by labor day.  I haven't been there for 2 years.  My how time flies.  That is only 1 lb. a week.  If I move the same and eat under 1500 calories a day I can do it.  If I eat extra I have to move more.  I need to set a goal for myself.

Last night I lost it and ate another serving of my Mexican lasagna.  I may not make it again for a while because it was too tasty.  It added 400 more calories to my day and I was over 2000 calories.  That being said I edited my food record and will start anew this morning.  I want to have a clean eating day...more fruits and veggies, no sugar or white flour, lower fat meats...you know the routine.  I am going back to having 2 protein drinks also.  It makes me feel quite satisfied for only 120 cal. per scoop.

I notice that people treat me differently when I am under 200 lbs.  I move easier when I am under 200 lbs.  I really need to do this for myself.  Tri

My food plan today:

S: protein coffee, grapefruit, sf metamucil 220

L: salad: spinach, sugar snap peas, carrots, tomato, cucumber, ff cheese, sunflower seeds, croutons, vinegar/oil dressing; chicken breast 500

S: protein coffee, nuked apple 200

D: roasted peppers, 3 oz. chicken breast, 1/2 cup brown rice 300

S: plain Greek yogurt 120

B: Sat: Special k frozen sandwich 180

Today went well and I ended up eating 1520 calories.  Tri

I like the idea of a summer challenge.  It wouldn't matter if you had a weight goal or a simplier increased water goal. I'm sure everyone could find a way to participate.

Happy Friday BOTTs.

I'm up for a summer challenge.  I would love love love to lose 10 pounds between now and the end of summer.  I know if I buckle down I can do that much.  Typically I shy away from any challenges because I am not a competitive person by nature, however since this challenge is with myself, than I know I will do it.

Breakfast:  diet hot chocolate  (I forgot to grab something for breakfast and snacks!!!)

Lunch:  Depends on the cafeteria but I will choose something high protein

Dinner:  Chicken and chili bean soup

Snack:  apple and cheese

Have a good day y'all.

Summer challenge for me !  Love the idea.....15 lbs is my goal !!

This was my last day of school and I am already 300 miles from home !  Got out at noon.

Traveling is always hard for me to stick with my eating plan because we eat out SO much !

Last summer I gained this 15 lbs that I want to lose.  We ate out 93 times last summer !!!  Checked the bank book and counted because I had gained 15 lbs from the last day of school to the first day in the fall.  Not going to do that this summer !!  Haven't lost it yet, but I weigh exactly what I weighed on the first day last fall.  At least I haven't gained over the school year.  A lot of my summer clothes are too tight, and I refuse to buy a bigger size !   I just have to lose the weight !!!

my day so far......vitamins done, water 90 ounces and just got some water with lemon at a convenience store

breakfast.............egg, bacon and toast

lunch..................we ate at Denny's......bad choice........😳.  Thought I did ok, but after I put it on my fitness pal....don't even want to think about it !!   Ugh !!   Restaurants are Carb and calorie city !!

dinner................maybe my DIL will be serving salad !  😊 but who knows...she loves to cook and is an excellant one !!

Brought some apples......if I can keep them away from Grandkids, I will have an apple for a snack

my summer challenge starts NOW !!   We ALL can meet our goals !!

Slow and steady !!!!  Have a Blessed Day !!!!!!
