Good evening Botts
The sun day seemed like a wonderful day. I am glad the bake sale went well. I find writing down helps me. Congratulations on the grand horse. In Wisconsin we had 2 days of summer last week. My annuals are siting on the south exposed kitchen table waiting for no freezing nights in the 10 day weather planner.

Iris, Feel so bad for you and your poor knees.
I have a suggestions that you may see if you are willing to try: some people report that their arthritis feels much better (less pain) when they remove all gluten from their diet. Not sure if that is feasible for you - but one month absolutely no gluten - and see if that may reduce the pain and increase the mobility. A friend of mine did not believe that, but she went on gluten free diet for a month...during that time, after 2 weeks she had many days she did not needed to use a cane. After one month she was not using the cane at all....
2 months after she went on vacation and was eating "normal food"... when she came back, not only she needed a cane, but even a walker for a few days... She is back to gluten free and even though the pain is still there... she can walk, and exercise, and do most things she loves... She went through allergy testing but she did not show allergy to gluten...
I know she also takes daily: herbs, and some fish oil ... But she is convinced the gluten free diet is giving her a few more years before she would need knee replacement surgeries...

I'm honestly considering the gluten free approach. A number of folks have mentioned it. My approach right now is one on "non'action" until after next week's appointment. I'm keeping up with my physical therapy and this will have given them a full 2 months of therapy (both on land and in the water).
I will say that I love going to the pool in the evenings. The whole routine is very soothing. It takes me about 45 minutes to go through the entire prescribed routine and then I follow it up with a 10 - 15 minute soak in the hot tub. I've missed it the past few nights and I'm really looking forward to it tonight.
Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.
