Weekend BOTT
It is going to be supper nice in SC.. Sunny and temperature in high 60's- to 70's.. I had supper busy week, working very long hours for a few days. Like really long hours.., 18-20....
But due to my adrenal issues, if I push myself that hard for a few days, even with supplementing, my body goes in a shut down mode.... I am slowly recovering but last night slept over 10 he's... My cat Emma was trying to wake me up, licking, biting... Walking all over me to get my attention. I had to get up at 8 am and give her her breakfast (the dry food and snacks don't count in her world) and open cat door for her so she can go out and chase critters, when she got back (10 min) I had to pet her, scratch her head for 10-15 min before she comfortable settled down on top of my chest and we could get some more sleep. My BF was laughing because he tried to takes over so I could get some more sleep but Emma wanted me... (She likes him a lot but she is as stuburn as me and when she wants something she can show that) And putting her out of the bedroom and closing the door does not work - she cries and bangs the door. But she is so adorable and cute and sweet that I can't resist when she wants some attention. That's enough about the cat.
We plan to do a few things, I need to go pick up a gift for my friend, take care of the rental house, and later we have dinner with my BF parents.
My adrenals are low so not only I have runs today but no appetite. I don't want to take too much cortisol today again. (I need to be careful not to take too much) so I will move slowly today. Getting lots of rest, and trying to recover...
Eats are simple:
Coffee+ coconut milk
Avocado (I hope I can eat that)
1/2 salmon burger with saute spinach..
Some nuts (as needed)
Dinner - I hope to have steak with some veggies..
LNS: nuts and a few strawberries, maybe sausage

It's nice and sunny and in the 60's here today, not really normal for OR this time of year, but much appreciated!
I understand about the kitty, we have a new puppy and she doesn't seem to care that we didn't get to bed until 1:30, she was ready to get up at 6:30 to play :) Hope you get to feeling better, enjoy your dinner out.
I didn't get get my workout in yesterday, so I will get it in today instead.

L: Shredded Beef tacos (4 oz roast beef & 2 tbsp cheese wrapped in romaine leaf)
D: 4 oz Grilled chicken breast & 1/2 cup collard greens
S: Protein shake w/1 cup unsweetened almond milk & 1 scoop of Miralax
X: 35 mins elliptical, 20 mins treadmill & abs
W: Working on it
V: Done

O yea... Puppy will get you moving. I used to be a dog person but as I was getting older - become a total cat person... Dogs just really need your attention a lot of the time.

Well the weather here is Maryland is perfect today. It's hard to believe we are suppose to have another snow storming heading our way on Tuesday. Halal sorry you under the weather today. I know how I feel when I push my self. I worked today and will also tomorrow, which will be seven days in row. Some of the days were ten hour days. So far I have done fairly well, but for some reason reason I am really hungry. Of course I am craving sweets, thankfully there's none in the house. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Linda, OMG 7 days would make me so sick. I used to could,,. But years of that and my adrenals stopped cooperating. Now I need time to recover.
Possible the really heavy week before my trip to SF, plus the 8 days trip and another few days of heavy load did me in...
Long stresfull days increase cortisol levels in the body = makes your body insulin resistant and makes you crave sugar... Increasing fat, sour foods, and salts - hellps with sugar cravings.

Hala thanks for the suggestions to curb the appetite. Unfortunately I gave in and had a piece of pound cake today. I feel totally gratified. Now of course the guilt is creeping in. Well the the game plan is to hit the gym early am and burn some extra calories. I will definitely use your suggestion next time. Thank god the seven days are over. To be honest I am feeling pretty good and not so tired. I had a really productive two day at work and was able to get tons done.
