Good Morning gang. It's been kinda quiet on here the last few days, I hope that's because we're all getting out and active to celebrate the end of winter. I told yall I was an optismist!! I for one am looking forward to a very low-key relaxing weekend. Next week is looking busier and busier each time I look at the calendar. We've got family coming in next weekend so that's always something to look forward to. I think I'm the luckiest gal in the world when it comes to my family, extended family and circle of friends.

The knee pain is really wearing me down. I've been on meds since January and only see a decline. So next week there's an appointment with a Rheumatologist to see what we can do about improving my quality of life. I have never been one to hide behind my weight and let it keep me from doing things that I really wanted to do (that's different from using it as an excuse not to try something new). I realized a day or so ago that I'm letting my knees determine what I do or don't do. I turned down an expense paid weekend trip to DC becuase of how badly my knees would feel and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to keep up with my family. That's not the way I live my life.

Today's plan looks like this:

Commute: Coffee

Breakfast: Whole wheat Cinnamon Toast & yogurt

snack: Peanuts

Lunch: frozen Entree

snack: Snack Pack of NSA Pears and some cottage cheese

Dinner: Broiled Fish and a green vegetable (either Broccoli or Asparagus)

Limited exercise today to accomodate the knees probably just a stretching DVD before bed. I've got the morning vitamins in and working on glass #2 of my decaf tea. Hope yall have a great day.

Happy Friday, BOTTs.

I feel like crap!  I finally broke down and went to the dr today during my lunch break....no wonder I feel like crap...I have a sinus, ear, and eye infections!

Enough is enough...I was just letting it run it's course but when it kept getting worse, I decided I didn't want to go the whole weekend feeling this way  or worse yet.  A dr. copay and 4 prescriptions later....I am broke but hopefully I will be feeling better sooner than later.

Take it easy on your knees, Iris. You are in my prayers!!!!

Breakfast:  banana

Lunch:  green beans with shredded beef

Dinner:  greek yogurt and antibiotics

Heck of a way to lose weight....but it's hard to eat when I feel icky like this.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  Enjoy Spring!

No exercise for me except for running back and forth to the restroom from drinking oodles of fluids.

Gaby
