SPRING - 3/20 - Cardio & Cafe
Spring, Sprang, Sprung!!! The calendar shows that Winter is officially over. HALLEJUHAH!!! I'm not sure about yall but it seems like it's been the longest Winter---EVER. I realize that it's not automatically going to be capri and sandal weather but I'm the supreme optimist. Bring on the sunshine, daffodils and seasonal allergies!
Now it's time to really get my exercise routine established and get serious about getting some of this extra weight off my poor old joints. I ordered a new pair of walking shoes a few days ago from Amazon. I'd read good reviews about them and tried them on locally but found a much better price online. Skinny man has promised to start walking with me in the evenings in an effort to lower his cholesterol and encourage me. We'll see.
Today's plan is ready to go:
Commute: Coffee
Breakfast: Peanut Butter & Banana Burrito (don't knock it till you try it - throw some dried fruit in and it's over the top)
Lunch: Frozen entree (caught them on sale and stocked the work freezer)
snack: Greek Yogurt & Mixed nuts
Dinner: Breakfast for Dinner (requested by the Kiddo!)
I'm looking at my morning vitamins. Waiting for my fresh pot of tea to finish and then I'll start chugging the decaf. Yall have a great day.

Happy first day of Spring!!!
We experienced the dryest and warmest winter on record this year, I guess all of the world's "global warming" is in San Diego County now.
Breakfast: hard boiled egg
Snack: SF hot chocolate
Lunch: carnitas without the tortillas (my eyes were bigger than my pouch because I ordered double meat since I was forgoing the tortillas. Now I am staring at an uneaten heap of carnitas meat with the hiccups (universal for wls ppl "I ate too much") Oh well...better it go to waste than my waist.
Snack: can't even think about it now because I'm so full. haha I did grab a small banana however, so if/when I am ready to eat, at least I won't be heading for the stupid vending machines.
Dinner: fish and veggies
Snack: greek yogurt
Have a nice day, friends.
