Wednesday - 3/19 - Cardio & Cafe

Sorry I'm late. I had a pacemaker check up this morning. 3 more years of battery life left. Turns out that technology has changed enough since this little gadget was implanted that I'll be getting a whole new pacer and battery in a few more years.

Some of yall will remember that last summer I had to have iron infusions....turns out that my low iron last year had caused an arrithymia (sp?) that showed up on my pacemaker reports. Toward the end of August it cleared up....the nurse in the office this morning recognized me from the infusion suite. She was able to explain everything. The low iron had resulted in low oxygen delivery to the heart causing the problem. The infusions cleared it all up. No more signs of trouble since late August. Please, Please, please......learn from my experience.....make those lab work appointments and follow up. Take those vitamins!!!!!!!!!!! Educate yourself and step up and go toe to toe with that doc who thinks your low "normal" levels are acceptible. Thank God I have a wonderful Primary Doc who is in my corner and listens when I tell her those "weird" things that are going on.

Today's plan is looking like:

Early AM : Coffee

Breakfast: Omelette w/ mushrooms and cheese

Lunch: The meat from an Arby's classic (Notice I don't call it beef - not sure what it is but I LOVE it)

snack: Celery & Peanut butter

Dinner: Fish & Asparagus (both grilled with lemon)

Yall have a great day!!! I've already gotten in a lot of walking today. It's looking like a good day!

Happy hump day, although they are pretty much all the same to me except for the actual weekends, as I retired over 6 years ago ;) Have a great day!

 

 

B: Coffee w/non dairy creamer....1 egg w/2 slices bacon

L: 7 oz Greek yogurt w/1 tsp SF Torani syrup

S: Protein shake w/1 cup unsweetened almond milk

D: 1/2 chicken & steak fajitas, no tortilla or rice (going out w/hubby for dinner)

S: Protein shake w/1 cup unsweetened almond milk & 1 scoop of Miralax

 

X: off day, but maybe a walk later

W: Working on it

V: Done

Hi, all !  I am on vacation seeing Grandkids....had a moment alone with ipad and thought I would report !  The weather is awful. Warm, but limited visibility due to blowing dust !  

I haven't been diligent with writing down my eats, but I haven't been doing too bad.  I will find out next week when I weigh.  I have been faithful with my vitamins and water.

my eats today.....

breakfast...............coffee/miralax.    Egg burrito

snack.....................1/2 apple turnover

lunch.......................sandwich

snack.......................banana

dinner.......................Chinese food that my daughter in law is making

snack.........................popcorn

Iris, I am glad you got a good report from your pacemaker check up.   Well its hard to believe tomorrow is the first day of spring and almost a quarter of the year is gone. Today is hump day, except for me I am working seven days straight. I hope where every you are it warm and sunny, enjoy the first day of spring.

 

My eats for today.

BKF Premier protein shake

Lunch 3 ounces of grill chicken breast greek yogurt lite and fit

Dinner 1 ounce dream field pasta 1/2 cup of homemade spaghetti sauce(93/7 ground beef) 1/2 green beans

snack cheese stick

greek yogurt

vits and water done
