Good morning everyone.  Looks like we will have a nice day here. Sun is out, and birds are vocal again. My house is at the end of cul-de-sac and behind my back yard there is 4-5 acres of wooded hill. Very quiet and serene. (if you don't mind the birds). It is as very relaxing to wake up on the weekends ... No noise from a car , or anything like that. The neighbors are very mindful and most of them will not use a lawn mover until 9-10 on weekends.  We are small neighborhood...

Yesterday my BF and I walked downtown and we had late lunch. I am still paying for that.

I had a burger (no bun) but I think it had some fillers (gluten and / or soy?).  I got crampy, full of gas.  O well.. I will ask for as special menu next time.  When I try to eat clean - my body reacts to small amounts of things that I should not have. The wine I had late that night helped... But as always I had too much of it..  The good thing is that I went to bed early and really got enough sleep..

Today we plan to see a movie and just hang around... Eating will be simple for me.. I need to let my belly rest.  I may even try to make different type of dairy-soy-gluten free, low carb cookies/protein snacks...

Sounds like you are in a peaceful place. Not sure where you live, but it sounds a lot better than the northeast at this point.  Yesterday was my first day back on food after 5 day pouch test.  I still had a protein shake for breakfast, but added veggies to lunch and dinner.  I unexpectedly went out to dinner and had fish with spinach.  I bought half home, but then ate it later on.  Up 1/2 pound even though my calories were around 800 as best I can calculate as I did not prepare dinner.  Doing well today. Just having lunch.  No cravings or obsessing.  Everyone in harms way of the storm stay safe.

You are doing great.  I woujld like to do something like 5 day clean diet  - but I am still looking for a good tasting low carb soy-dairy-gluten and artificial stuff protein drink.  I can use egg white but i need to be careful since that us next thing my body may get allergic to.  I like to be able to have eggs.  A trip to vitamin shoppe today - and I am home with 2 brands of vegan proteins. Will see.. One more type should be delivered this week.

Your up 1/2 lb may be simply due to sodium, solid food (solid waste) and/ or adding carbs - even from veggies.

For me the lost of cravings is better than weight loss but I will be happy if I can lose weight while detoxing,

BTW. I live in SC and today we had lovely 72... Wonderful day for walking.  We did some of that.

As for my house, it is way too big for me and a cat, but the serene neighborhood near city is so unique. I can really appreciate that when I travel.  I also hope soon my BF will move in with me, and the house will get relatively smaller.. Even though we plan to build an additional garage for his cars.. (Yea, he has as few of them   and he likes working on them)

I can have whey protein, but cannot have anything with artificial sweeteners.  So the shakes are unjury unflavored protein powder with almond milk.   I do believe I saw vegan type protein powder at Mrs. Greens or Whole Foods.  The 5 day's of just protein really helped calm the beast and give me some distance from the obsession.  it helped reset things.  the weekend has been good.  My real challenge is at work where the stress is super high and me choosing not to use food to deal with my emotions.  Wishing you luck in finding the foods you need to continue your journey.

Well it's like I blinked and the weekend is gone.  It was cloudy most of the morning here and now it's raining.   The rain is suppose to turn to sleet followed by 6-10" of snow.      I am so ready for spring so I can get out for walks, smell the fresh air and yes listen to the birds.  I had eggs and ham for BKF a change from my regular protein shake.  Lunch  was Greek yogurt.  I made a  lasagna and used squash in the place of the pasta.  It actually turned out really good.   Thereplenty   left over for lunches/dinner this week.   Thanks for doing the weekend BOTTS  H.A.L.A.  Where are you located just curious sun, and birds.

Linda, looks like you are doing great.  I am in South Carolina.. I moved here from Montreal Canada many years ago.. I was tired of the cold.. Now I deals with summer heat.. But moist of the winter we have nice mild weather ... I can't sunbathe in summer, too hot, but there were many days in past years that I were out in my backyard in December or january in shorts asndc T-shirt.. This year we had much worse weather... But still not too horrible.

I made a lasagne using cabbage in place of the pasta. Just be sure to put the cabbage in a little water and microwave it to "precook" them. Even my kids liked it.
