Back On Track Together
I've Been Gone for Awhile
Hello BOTT,
I've been gone for it seems like forever. I'm 7 years post-op and I'm at a point in my journey where I feel I need to be here. Experiencing things that I'm sure that others have also experienced...like being hungry, dealing with everyday temptations and eating things I know I shouldn't. Hopefully I can get back on track and stay healthy.
Hi...
A few tips what works for me :
Decarbing and eating low carbs keeps my cravings away.
Eating often - every 2-3 hours keerpos my portion small and keeps my BS stable.
When I dont drink enough in between meals - I tend to feel hungry - even though I may be just thirsty.
Artificial sweeteners - like splenda or asparteme stimulates my appetite, but stevia or saccharin do not do that to me
I don't trust "net carb" numbers of product - due to my sensitivity to carbs - any carb is a crab - even so called fiber.
SA makes me very uncomfortable
And last one- fruits are full of natural sugars so I try to limit portions and stay away from most of it (I get severe RH) except berries. I eat 1-4 servings of berries per week.

Thank you so much ladies for your replies. I will take all advice and store it in my memeory banks. I have a few friends that wanted me to join with them using this Personal Trainer ($390.00 a month) and go on a special diet when I have the tools I need right here inside of me. I am back here where I need to be. Thanks again.
