Good Morning Botts!! Thought I'd go ahead and get the daily post started. I need the accountability of planning out my day. I know that for some it works better to recap toward the end of the day. Whatever works!!

Less than 2 weeks until Daylight Savings time....that's my start date for 1 hour daily walks. No excuses. I need it and the dogs will benefit from it as well. Our Cairn Terrorist really needs it. She was at a good weight for her breed before we had her fixed. Now the girl is bordering obesity. The puppy just wants to be wherever we're at so he'll be happy.

The plan for today looks like:

commute: Coffee

Breakfast: Oatmeal (I'm craving it ---prior to WLS I HATED it)

Lunch: Chef's salad

snack: Celery & Peanut butter

Dinner: Pork Roast & Squash

lns: Almonds & string cheese (iron supplement)

Get tha****er in and don't forget your vitamins!!!!!!

Good morning BOTTs.

MY MEDS CAME IN THE MAIL AND WERE WAITING EVER SO PATIENTLY FOR ME WHEN I GOT HOME FROM WORK!!!

Ahhhhhh.....such a relief...I walked in the house and didn't even put my purse down before I popped the top on both bottles.

I won't let that happen again.  I feel like I dodged a bullet, psych meds are nothing to play with.

Breakfast:  2 hard boiled eggs

Snack:  granola bar

Lunch:  going to a soup and salad bar for lunch and then a meeting so I will definitely make good choices or I will pay dearly for it during the meeting.

Snack:  sf hot chocolate

Dinner:  fish and veggies

Snack:  string cheese

I've already got a jump on my water so I just need to keep it going (or flowing!) throughout the day.

Iris, your pups will love the daily walks with you!!!  haha...puppies love just about anything anyway!  I bet he's growing like a weed!!

Have a great day, friends.

Gaby

Happy Dance for the Post office getting the job done.

The Puppy is amazing. I've always loved my Black Labs and after the last one, I swore I'd never have another because there was no way to ever have another with his temperment. Captain is all that and then some. Honestly it's like having an old dog's soul in the body of a puppy. He sits. He stays. He'll kennel up (as soon as he sees a Milk Bone). He'll fetch. He loves the water. He's getting much better on the leash - still pulls a bit because he's excited, but he'll stay on my right side or to the front. If he can find the laundry room door open any at all, he helps himself to the Milk Bones. I'm not complaining.

I sound like a new mother. HA HA HA.

That's great!!!  I still love his name, "Captain".  Perfect for a Black Lab.  Wonderful temperments too...so glad you have your reincarnated dog back!!!

He sounds like such a good boy!!!!!  I have to admit...although I have always had dogs....I have never been able to crate train one.  It works so well for everyone else!!!  I appreciate a crate trained dog!!!  I'm too much of a sucker when they cry, even if it's just for a little while.

Enjoy the puppyhood!!!
