Monday - 2/24 - Cardio & Cafe

Good Morning!!!! Whew, it's good to be back to work this morning where things are calm and quiet. We had a very successful birthday party yesterday for Julian. We lost count at 110 people that stopped by throughout the afternoon to offer birthday wishes. The good thing about at party that size is I was too busy to eat. By the time I dropped in a chair last night I was exhausted.

Today's going to be a good day. The sun is shining and the birds are singing. Not quite as warm as yesterday BUT I did see my first Robins of Spring yesterday afternoon and again this morning. Yippee!!!

My plan for today is another simple one:

Commute: Coffee

Breafkast: Fruit & 1/2 a ham sandwich on whole wheat

Lunch: Leftover Hamburger Steak & green beans

snack: Celery & Peanut butter

Dinner: Fish Tacos & refried beans  (maybe a few chips with guacamole)

lns: Protein Pudding (& iron supplement)

Yall get those vitamins and water in. I've just brewed a fresh gallon of decaf tea to get me through at work. Cheers!!

Good morning BOTTs. 

What a wonderful birthday celebration for your stepfather.  That's a lot of people to have venture through your house!!!   It sounds like you dealt with it wonderfully, Iris.  I think I would have been eating everything that didn't eat me first...but then, my mind is a little bit off...I am in the midst of a big no no.  I didn't call in soon enough for my psych med refills and am impatiently waiting for the mailman to deliver!  Hopefully it will be there today when I got home.  Fingers and toes crossed.  I've been off my lexepro & wellbutrin cold turkey since friday.  So far I have been ok....since I am aware of my depression...it has been YEARS since I failed to have my refills well in advance.  The last time was a nightmare...If I remember correctly, I was sitting out in my patio swing, just sobbing for hours. 

Breakfast:  2 hard boiled eggs

Snack:  SF hot chocolate

Lunch:  veggie burger patty with lettuce and tomatoe and ketchup and pickles

Snack:  hard boiled egg

Dinner:  baked fish and veggies

Snack:  hopefully my psych meds (praying that they arrive today in the mail!)

My water/liquid was way off this weekend....waaaaay offffff.  I think maybe today if I focus on sipping almost constantly, I can help my body to re-hydrate for the most part.

Exercise:  running the stairwell at work as often as I can. (for the exercise, obviously, but also for the endorphins to help make up for my lack of psych meds!)

Ouch.. I use Lexapro and only 10mg a day.. so day or 2 I would handle.. If you were closer - I could lend you some of mine..lol.. (if that was legal)

Please Mr. Postman, bring her some meds....NOW!!! Love me some Lexapro. Haven't tried the Wellbutrin so I'm no help there.

Good morning! Getting a late start this morning, feeling a little sore, did a quick workout yesterday.

my eats for today:

breakfast: coffee and creamer, protein shake with half milk

snack: 2 slice roast beef and laughing cow cheese wedge

lunch: 3 pizza bites and salad dinner: 3oz grilled ribeye, 1/4 cup rice and 1 cup salad

snack: strawberry Greek yogurt, 1T mini chocolate chips

952 cal 77 carb 92 protein (I'm happy with that)

going to take vitamins when done with my shake and got to start working on my water. Might be heading to the gym later not sure yet. Have a great day

110 people.. OMG.. I had just 20 2 weeks ago and it seamed like a lot..  Great job. I hear you on "no time to eat".. 

The weather is great here. Nice and warm.. . spring is in the air.  Even my cat has allergies now.. I am sure she does not feel 100%since she gets "clingy" and wants "mama" a lot.. But she is a cat- and once she eventually goes out and see the criteres - she gets excited and forgets her stuffy nose, and sneezing until the next morning... 

I tried to go to bed early last night.. and probably did not eat enough before bed,  because I woke up hungry at3:20 am and could not go back to sleep.  I had to get downstairs and get some food to raise my BS.  But the episode woke me up and I did not get back to sleep until 6:00 am..  So by now I had 2 breakfast, snack and lunch.. and I fell stuffed.. 

3:45 nuts and crispea snaps, blueberries.. 

7:00 coffee and nuts, 

black forest ham + pickles

L: chicken + pickles and tomato... (business lunch) 

Overall good foods so far.. but I ate too much dense foods  so my inside really don't like me today. 

rest of the day: water+ water+ green tea + coffee (need to make up in liquids) 

D: chicken or fish, creamed spinach, green beans.. 

LNS: not sure..
