FRIDAY 2/21 - Cardio & Cafe
Okay gang we've made it through another week.
I live for my weekends (even the busy ones). I think I'm an oddball because I do much better staying on track on the weekends than I do during the work week. Just got to make it a point to drink, drink, drink. It's also much easier to get my exercise in. I wore my pedometer one Saturday last year just to see how many steps I'd take during the course of a cleaning, shopping & laundry day. It was over 12,000. The majority of those were taken right inside my house. That's far above my normal, sedentary lifestyle. I think it just might be time to clip that little gadget back on my waistband and shame myself into action.
The plan for today is another simple one:
Commute: Coffee
Breakfast: 1/2 cinnamon Bagel with cream cheese
Lunch: Frozen entree
snack: Peanut butter & celery (I swear I'm addicted to it!!!)
Dinner: Mexican (either fish taco or shrimp fajita)

Morning! I signed my family up at the gym yesterday and was all set to get up this morning and have my first workout with a trainer and my baby girl started coughing pretty bad..... Poor baby. I thought she was getting better. Anyways, maybe if the cough clears up we can go do a workout when daddy gets home or at least I can. Speaking of working out.... So I was talking to my hubby about what I should eat before I go, I said a shake at first and thought it wouldn't sit in my stomach as long as something solid. So than I mentioned some turkey and a string cheese and he said it was a bad idea and yet again compared my stomach to his. Does anyone else have this issue? Even after all this time he still doesn't get it sometimes! Anyways.... Thanks for listening to my rant.....
my eats
breakfast: 3 eggbites (artichoke and spinach) some sour cream for sipping and a slice and half of bacon. COFFEE!!!!!!
lunch: turkey chili and salad
snack: a shake and later a Greek yogurt raspberry with some mini chocolate chips thrown in
dinner: taco night I'm going to try really hard to not have a shell! I have a wedding to be in in November and bride wants strapless
About to take my vitamins and water already poured. Have a great day!!!
Well....I weighed for the first time in two weeks......after agonizing over being off track for days.....and guess what....I weighed exactly what I weighed two weeks ago !!! I was SO relieved !!!

i hope all of you have a great weekend.......talk to you next Wednesday........I am leaving early (5:00 am) Sunday morning for a three day conference with 5 high school girls and another sponsor in San Antonio ! We are staying right on the Riverwalk. I know we will have a great time and learn lots at the conference. It is a conference for TAFE......Texas Association of Future Educators.

It's supposed to be about 85-90 degrees here today.
My exercise will be running up and down the stairs again. (ongoing "get healthy"campaign here at work)
Breakfast: greek yogurt
Snack: worked right through it
Lunch: tilapia and veggies
Snack: SF hot chocolate and later a granola bar
Dinner: veggie burger (no bun) wrapped in lettuce with tomatoe
Snack: Friday night...probably popcorn.

Take good care of yourselves and remember to drink your water and take the vits throughout the weekend!! My down fall is my water...still working on it. glug glug glug.

I got fitbit as a birthday gift and I like it...on day I do OK, but not so much when I get only 3-4,000 steps..
Most days I get close to 6500 steps.. not a lot... but if I try I get over 8,000 (my daily average goal that I am not meeting)
I put on my jeans today .. they used to be OK, and I needed a belt before to keep them on. Not today.. Crap. I had a muffin top... (at least in am) so I really need to get on the plan..
It does not help that I just made a whole 9 x9 x1 fudge to replace the chocolate I can't have (cocoa, coconut oil, some coconut milk, stevia + nuts) . I know I can't - should not eat protein bars, whey protein shakes, or cheese or any dairy... or my fav 85% chocolate.. or anything with soy.. so I tried to make some substitute.. I did too good of job.. But I do hope I can portion that...
