Good Morning Botters:
It is hump day but like so many of you, we are dealing with icy roads this morning. My hubby took me into the office to pick up some files to work on and then brought me back home. It looks like we are going to get sleet and icy/rain mix all day while everybody east of us are going to get lots of snow. Even my boss called me at 7:00 AM and told me not to come in. My eats for today will probably be off since I am at home.

Please be careful out there if you are driving to work in this icy/snowy mess. Drink lots of fluids to stay hydrated and remember those vits.

Ok, I haven't posted in about a weekish. I have been doing well and the weight is coming off slowly. I feel so conflicted, what I am doing is working, but it's not working fast enough. I am working out pretty much every day, 2 days a week I take yoga, then the other days I do 30-45 minutes on the elliptical and lift weights. I am eating 1200-1350 calories a day, 80+ protein and 100 ish in carbs. My carbs are from fruit, veggies, beans, Greek yogurt and not from junk. In six weeks, I have lost 7 pounds. I really want to have a tummy tuck in the fall, the PS office said come in for a consult in spring to plan for a fall surgery. I want to be closer to my goal weight when I go in. I feel really great though, I am getting so much stronger.
Breakfast coffee, coffe and more coffee. Later on, 1 egg wtih cheese.
Snack: Greek Yogurt with fresh raspberries and a few slivered almonds
Lunch: left over home made beef and bean chili
Dinner: I will stop and get a roasted chicken on my way home and I will nuke some veggies
I took my vitamins today and I am really stuggling with getting my water in.
Thanks!

Erin. If you have lost 7 lbs. in six weeks eating the calories that you are then you are doing awesome! The only way to lose more quicker would be to cut your calories to 800-1000 a day. If you feel great and losing though, I don't think I would change anything but that is up to you. When losing weight it will always come down to calories in and calories out.
