I think Mother Nature needs some new meds for her Bi-polar(ness) when it comes to the weather this season. YIKES!!!!!! It's snowing here again and there's more forecast over the next 3 days. I NEED SUNSHINE!!!!

I wasn't able to post last week - somehow got logged off of my work computer and the dang OH banner was blocking me from the area where the log in was at and the puppy gnawed up the power plug for David's laptop---so he took mine and then changed out the power plug so my poor laptop was SOL. All is right with my world now though. Let's see how long it stays this way. lol

I was in a hurry leaving home this morning and totally left home without my breakfast or lunch. Both are sitting right there on the counter. I HATE it when I do that. I'd rather have gotten up late and not had a chance to even make anything. UUUUgggghhhhhhhh.

Commute: Coffee

Breakfast:  Sausage Burrito from Mickey D's

Lunch:  1 slice Hawaiian Pizza & Diet Coke

Dinner:  Chili that I'm making at home. YUM.

I've decided that Chili is probably my most favorite food. Full of protein and fiber. The pouch loves it. The family loves it. It's easy to make and leftovers just get better and better. Throw on some Plain Greek Yogurt and it's PERFECT. The plan is to get in a stretching session from Youtube before bedtime. I swear I sleep so much better when I do them. Just search a couple of them and watch.

Yall stay safe and warm.

Great to see you back online.  I just hate it when I forget my lunch.  Of course then I am left with not the best choices.  We had a little sunshine toward the end of the day, however it's still freezing.  I guess I will prepare to possibly stay at work the storm.  You know as a nurse we can't leave our patients.  So we shall see.   Enjoy your chili.

I have newly adopted a new pre-made turkey and black bean chili that is so delightful and good!! High in protein and low in carbs, I can't go wrong with this food choice.
It tastes homemade!
What all do you put in yours?

Our chili (and soup) is rarely the same twice. Last night's pot was a mix of lean ground beef, ground turkey and a left over steak for the meat. A can of Bush's Chili Beans and a can of rinsed black beans. Tomato Sauce and Diced tomatoes. Seasoning was a packet of McCormick's Chili seasoning and another packet of Taco seasoning since there was a lot of meat to it. Oh and the most important ingredient of all....ONIONS.

Sometimes we go meatless with a mixture of whatever beans and tomatoes we have on hand. Normally there is a can of Rotel in there but we were out last night.

Sometimes we use Chicken in place of beef....ground or regular. Occassionally ground venison shows up in it. It's always different but it's always GOOD.

winter is coming... again.. I don't lie**** here on the roads.

My weekend was good, I cleaned the house, had BF Birthday party - cooked a lot of good foods, drank too many glasses of wine.. and had some birthday cheesecake. ( noi issue -no hangover)

I had a piece of the cheesecake on Saturday (washed it with wine) and I was fine.. Of course I decided to have another piece on Sunday after dinner... no wine.. well.. my pouch let me have it... 2 hrs in fetal position on a floor... but eventually the cramps passed... and I was able to go to bed... Today really don't feel like I want to eat much.

Eats:

coffee + some more coffee with miralax

tea

2 oz of pork loin

L: warmed up some ch****n, smelled it and put it on top of the fridge (so the dog would not steal it) .. got coffee instead

more coffee

when I am ready I will eat the chicken with some pickles..

dinner: not sure... but I know I got to eat...
