When last time have blood tested for what you need?  Not enough is ba d- toomuch of good thing - may be bad either,

I had RNY - and malabsorb, so I need to take multi, calcium, magnesium, and some ethers.. With the sleeve - you may - or may not need it.

Check the blood work first. Then decide what YOU need.

I take multivitamin, calcium, vit D, vitron C and B complex.  It different for every surgeon.  While I do have malabsorption, I have friends who have VSG that take vitamins.  I think it would best to check with your surgeon.

We can all tell you what we take but to truly know what you need and are missing you need to have a full blood panel workup.  This includes all your deficiencies in vitamins, protein, calicum, iron and any others potential missing from your body.  I am not going to try and scare you but not taking vitamins puts your health and well being at great risk.  Please make an appointment to see your PCP as soon as possible.  You can also call your gastro doctor and ask for a list of all the tests that you should be having due to your type of surgery.

Make sure that you find brands that you like and will take.  I tried a lot before I found ones that I liked.  I have a few almost full bottles of brands that I wont use.  I use a chewable multi, Iron and calcium.  I am also on 50,000 once a week of vitamin D and I just finished 3 months of B12 injections and will now start a B12 sublingual or lozenge, as per my blood work.
