I hope you get home safely before the storm hits. It seems we are put on notice every other day that the weather may or may not get bad. I am at the point that I wish we would get one big snow, stay home for a couple of days and be done with the winter weather. Of course, that is in a perfect world....
Good morning BOTTs.
...I am so sad...a friend of mine lost her fight with the h1n1 flu yesterday. She's been fighting it for about a month now and unfortunately it was more than her body could handle. She leaves behind a devistated husband and three boys. Oh how my heart aches for that family. It's kind of a double whammy for me because my daughter knew her well also and she is longtime friends with the three boys. Count your blessings and love every day you have with those you love. Sure puts things into perspective. My mind is spinning.
Breakfast: SF hot chocolate
Snack: hard boiled egg
Lunch: greek yogurt
The rest of the day will be good choices...just not sure what or when I will feel like eating.
This would be a day to dive into a box of Cheez-Its but I'm not going there...my heart hurts, there's no sense in "hurting" my body also.
Be good to yourselves and be careful in the weather you are facing.
Gaby

Gaby, I am so sorry about your friend. This is the first year that I have ever taken a flu shot myself. We have had several deaths in North Mississippi caused by the flu and it just scare me not to be prepared. I am sending prayers for you, your daughter and the family who has lost their love one. Take care.
Gaby, so sorry for your loss. I know loss is not easy.
The local news channel here just did a story on how terrible the flu has been this year and it has had devistating affects. I never get the flu shot, will not be the case next year. I didn't realize how serious this was.
Take care again so sorry about your loss :(
