I think for a lot of us is just getting the regain to stop.  Once we have succeed in that then we can concentrate on getting the weight back off.  Maintenance is definitely a full time job!

I hate the scale, it's being a big jerk.  Patience is not my strong point, I am cutting calories for a week to see if that makes a difference.

Breakfast: coffee with half and half X2, ENS protein shake made with Almond milk

Snack: a dark chocolate square, it was yummy and worth every calorie!

Lunch: vegetarian split pea soup

Snack: plain greek yogurt with fresh raspberries

Dinner: I tried to throw chili in the crockpot this morning, but I didn't have everything I needed so it looks like I will be stopping at the grocery store.  I will probably buy a roasted chicken and some type of veggies. We have Wegmans grocery stores here, I love Wegmans! Great prepared foods in a hurry.

I usully go to yoga on Tuesday, but my daughter starts swimming tonight, so I might have to change my yoga night.  If I don't get to yoga, I will get on the elliptical for 45 minutes and do weights at home. I just bought a new water bottle and I am really concentrating on getting my water consumption to where it should be.

Stay off the scale.  It can make or break a perfectly good day.  Weigh once a week or when your clothes feel loose on your body.  If I weigh every day I would be nuts.  I flucuate way to much from day to day.  If my pants fit comfortably then we are doing okay.

I am totally obsessed with the scale.  I weigh my self every morning.   I have tired to stop, but I can't seem to.

A baby....our very own BOTTS BABY!!!! Yeah Melissa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I completely understand why you can't concentrate.

Today is one of those very BLAH winter days. The weather turned cold and rainy yesterday afternoon so it's really damp, gray, cold and windy here. Not conducive at all to a good mood for this sunshine baby. I can almost feel what limited amount of vitamin D I have stored up just oozing out. No wonder I always have low to insufficient amounts. What are the chances I can get a prescription for a month long trip to the islands? I've met my deductible for the year. If only that's how Obamacare would work. A girl can dream.

Today's plan is simple:

Commute: coffee

Breakfast: cheez-its from David's lunch (BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD)

Lunch: Ham on whole wheat with an apple

snack:  String cheese & almonds

Dinner: Clam Chowder (Hatteras style like my Daddy always made - clear broth)

Getting plenty of water in and the vitamins are done for the day.  Hope everyone has a great day.

Iris:  You need to give David the box of cheezits for work and get them out of the house.  Somethings can not be tolerated in the house.  I have found that having nutella in my house is like having a 5 lb. party of excitment only until the jar is empty.  It is amazing how a small jar that weighs 8 oz. can cause a 5 lb. weight gain.  Figure that math out.  Are you taking your vit D pills?  I took 50,000 mg. this morning.  We having a rainy, misery day here in Mississippi and I needed the extra boost.  Also took 1000 mg. of B12 this morning too.

Cold and dreary here also...I had a problem waking up. I stayed up too late last night.  I ate too much last night – unplanned, good things but probably 200-250 cal over what I planned. So today need to scale back some..

Coffee x 2

Green tea with lots of lemon

Green proteins shake

Chicken breast+ green beans, spinach

More green shake

Dinner: I am taking my BF to a dinner at Japanese restaurant so I probably get all healthy sashimi, seaweed salad, miso soup and rice free sushi rolls (wrapped in cucumber instead of rice) I plan to have one glass of wine….

LNS: turkey or chicken breast or nuts.

Some days it feels like I have this annoying “child like” entity together in my head… whining “I am huuunnngggrrry…..starving”; while my other side – the responsible adult just looks back and say “yea yea, whatever … you will be fine… “
