Angela:

I noticed that you had a cheeseball for lunch.  Do you make your own?  If you do, what is your recipe.  I am always looking for new cheeseball recipes to go with my own.  I made two for the superbowl party and they were great.  I used the lite cream cheese, diced onions, and 4 mexican cheese blend as my base and on one I added dried cranberries and almonds diced up, and then covered in almond slivers and the other one I added diced pecans and bacon and then covered in hormel bacon bits.  They were a big hit with everybody and I thought they were a good protein choice for me over the sausage balls and dip and chips.

My recipe is simple and yummy. 2 8oz packs of RF or FF cream cheese, 2 2oz packs of sliced beef (like Carl budding or store brand), 6 stalks of green onions, and 1 packet of hidden valley ranch dry seasoning.

Good morning BOTTs.

Saturday I met up with my cousin at a lake and we walked 3 times around it and I finally got a day in with 10,000 steps!!!  Loved spending time with her and we talked the whole time.  I am going to continue to keep track of my steps with Pacer, it is a great way for me to judge how active I am being throughout my day.

I was rooting for Peyton Manning in the superbowl but he's still a superstar in my book.  The snacks at the party I went to were great...my favorite were tomatos stuffed with tuna and then later we had veggie meat tacos I just created a tostado without the tortilla on the bottom.  I know I ate more than my pouch's fair share, but I stayed away from the carby stuff for the most part.

Breakfast:  fiber bar

Snack:  SF hot chocolate

Lunch: tomato stuffed with tuna

Snack:  2 hard boiled eggs

Dinner:  I am thinking about chicken chili.

Snack:  greek yogurt if I can make it to the grocery store on my way home from work.

I haven't been losing any weight but the fact that I have stopped the scale from going up has been a great feeling.  I'm ready for the even better feeling of the scale going down now.  STAY AWAY BAD CARBS!!!

It rained last night...supposed to be getting some more this week...fingers and toes crossed!!

Have a great day, all.

Great job on completing your walking, and most of  all keep the weight from going up.

Wow!  You had a lot of victories this weekend!  Congrats on reaching the 10,000 steps, making great food choices and stopping that scale.  Plus RAIN!!!  I hope the rest of your week is awesome too!  Peyton will always be the man.

My feet were not amazed, they were howling like hurt puppies.  When I got back to the hotel, my daughter's best friend gave me a wonderful foot massage.  She actually washed my feet, massaged them and rubbed them with lotion.  Needless to say, I loved that girl very much!!!
