Snow Day #2. I could get use to these shortened work weeks. We've already gotten the call that we have at least a 2 hour delay in the morning but emergency management still has to do a road assessment in the morning. Apparently our main highway (1 in the whole county) is in good shape but all the secondary roads are sheets of ice. Thankfully we're not very far from the main road if I do have to go in tomorrow. Plus it'll be Friday and Payday so I really don't object to having to work a 6 hour day.

I've not gotten much accomplished again today. I did make a huge pot of soup and bake a cake. That's about the extent of my day. Oh yeah I did go out and play in the snow. The neighborhood kids made every house a snowman. I had to help.

The plan today was simple:

Coffee!

Coffee!

Coffee!

lunch: Vegetable beef soup

dinner: Vegetable beef soup

snack: small slice of Sweet Potato Pound Cake

Hoping for a more balanced day tomorrow. Yall stay warm and safe.

The cold is leaving and I like that. We had some snow and ice but I was able to get to the office around noon yesterday and today was a very normal work day.

I finally feel better, and more like myself.  The 3.5 weeks of the crud was really enough.

I am determined to lose 10 lbs in next 2-3 months.  I have to. I gained weight during holidays andf then again while I was sick.  So far I lost 5 lbs (probably water weight due to carbs loading) but the other 5 lbs does not want to move. And since I still wanted to lose the earlier 5 lbs - that all is at least 10 to 15 that I really need to work on.

I am on steroids and my doc noticed the gain.  I need to lose the 10 lbs regain until my next visit with her or she may fire me as as patient (it took me 9 months to be able to see her).

She gives me a lot of freedom how to dose my steroids so I need to make sure to show her I can handle that.

I am back to full speed back on track ... All healthy food.  Limiting carbs and any heavily processed foods. I will try the 5-2 calorie cycling diet. It worked good for my friend and I hope it will help me reset my body back to loosing.

Btw: my lowest weight was 143 in 2009-2010, (too low for me) gained up and was able to maintain 162-165.   Now - 173.... (_I was up to 178.5 a week ago)

New goal :163 max 155 min.. Would like to end up at 155-159..

Have in mind that at the current weight - I am size 6-8 bottom, 8-12 top. (Top - M -L)

Today eats:

Coffee x2 + Miralax.

Tea

1 oz of chicken breast

Baked fish + green beans+ parsnips mash

1oz 85% chocolate +  green tea

Green tea, 1 oz of chicken breast (snack)

D: turkey breast + sauteed veggies.

 Exercise - next week.

I am just so glad that you are feeling better now.  It seems to be tougher to get 10 lbs. off than it ever was to get 70 off.  Good luck to you and let us know if the 5-2 plan works for you.  I may want to try it too!  My weight has been bouncing from 160-165 for over two months now.  I really want to get back in the 150's.
