Good morning.   Since you all have been back on track what is the average amounts of protein, calories, carbs and fats that you consume per day?   I am just not sure that I am getting in the correct amount.    I am heading out for work, have a great day.

My main focus are protein, then type of carbs and calories. Then everYthing else just follow.

When I try to lose, I try to get 80-120 gr of proteins, carbs from veggies (non starchy) and nuts and no more than 1000 cal daily. Varied daily- 800 to 1200 per day... Carbs - try not to get more than 50-60 in divided dosages.

I currently eat about 70-80 grams of protein a day and my calories range from 900-1100 a day.  I keep my carbs below 50-60 per day.  I don'****ch my fats as much but looking over my fitpal they are usually around 22-29 a day.

I have been advised not to go below 1200 calories a day.  I use My Fitness Pal and it's telling me to eat 1490 a day.  That seems like a lot to me, I usually eat 1400 calories a day.  With that being said, I have been on a 2 week plateau, so I am going to cut some calories and see what happens.  I get around 90 grams of protein in a day.  I don't really worry about my fat intake. I also exercise 4 days a week.

The thing that burns me is I have maintained close to the same weight for years, even after having 2 babies and breast feeding each of them for a year, my weight still goes back to the same place.  I cut out my snacking after getting BOT and I have lost 5 pound and then gained 2 back?  Oh well, I guess I just keep it up and it will pay off.

I am a data geek, I feel like you can't change what you don't measure.  I have been keeping almost perfect track of my intake for a month, now I have something to go on.  I am trying to find out what works for my body.  I will try 1300 calories for a few weeks and see what happens, if that doesn't make a difference I will go to 1200.  If that doesn't work, I will try something else.  I will be patient, I have made a lot of positive changes in a small amount of time.

Thanks everyone for the reply, I guess i am more  on track than I realized.  My calories are about 800-1000/day, Protein 70-120/day, carbs 30-40/day, fats  less than 30 most days.
