A chilly hello botters:
It is downright cold here. We are at our high of 19 degrees and temperatures will be falling all day long. My sweet boss came in early to light my propane heater and it feels wonderful. Our low tonight is going to be in the single digits with wind chills at about 5 below. I need to be a bear and go sleep off winter. My eats for today are:
Breakfast: Hot Coffee & Miralax
Snack: Quest Protein Bar
Lunch: Protein Shake
Snack: Fiber One Cake
Dinner: Lean Pocket
Snack: Vitatop
Exercise: Bike
I really feel great since I got the carbs out of my system. No head hunger or body hunger. I do not know why I ever let them back in when I only feel good eating them and back the rest of the time. It is a vicious cycle we find ourselves in. Please remember to take your vitamins and drink lots of fluids. This cold weather will surely take you down physically if you are not prepared for it. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. 2 hour delay for work today due to icy roads. The snow is still covering everything. Very little melted yesterday - of course with temps in the 20's it really can't melt. My Grandmother would stay it's hanging around waiting for more. Of course the weatherman mentioned a chance of snow again tonight.
It's so good to see so many new faces posting on here. We've all got a lot to learn and contribute. Keep sharing.
My plan for today:
commute: Coffee
Breakfast: Greek Yogurt w/ granola
Lunch: Mason Jar salad with Mexican Chicken for added protein
snack: Popcorn
Dinner: 15 Bean Chili
I'm getting ready to pop the vitamins for the morning so I've just got to remember my Iron tonight. Not sure what the exercise will be today, possible DVD of some sort. This is Day #6 of clean eating and I must admit to feeling much better. Yall stay warm and safe.

Tess....Your weather sounds about like mine..... I am glad that I turned the heat up in my classroom before I left yesterday.
I have a bad cold, so I really don't feel like eating, but know I must.

dinner............homemade soup
I haven't been having an evening snack except for coffee.....need to add protein powder to it !

Good afternoon!
Today is not off to a good start, I will make it better though! :)
Breakfast: Egg White and Turkey Bacon Sandwich from Starbucks and a venti Skinny Vanilla (Ick, I was in a hurry but no excuse)
Snack: Crackers and coffee
Lunch: 3 small beef tamales (the last of them, I didn't want to toss them out!)
Snack: Water and lots of it
Dinner: Baked fish and veggies and maybe some salad
Hubby and I are hitting the gym tonight, as much as I am dreading it I know I have to start.
Vitamins are in, and gave myself a b-12 shot this morning, good for another month! Trying to find the best time to start my 5 day pouch test. Possibly Monday. Until then I will be making better food choices.

It's already a little late and I haven't even finished one bottle of water yet...time to get a jump on it. No new weather stories from me today...same old, same old.

Lunch: green salad with cottage cheese,
Snack: 15 almonds and greek yogurt
Dinner: baked fish and veggies
Snack: string cheese and 1/2 of an apple

Today was a 2hr. delay. Our pre-k is cancelled on delay days, and my lead teacher did not bother coming in, and neither did I! Played hooky!
Anyway down business:
B-Vits. & sm. portion of protein suppl.
sausage egg and cheese burrito with sm. coffee and cream.
L-yogurt & sm. bag of popcorn ( I love popcorn!!).
S- Water/ protein suppl.
D-Cabbage soup w/ 1 pc. of baked chix.
S-??? need more water though!
Exercise Walked, and walked, and walked. Maybe just a couple miles, not really sure? Outside in the cold!! I was determined to get it in, and I did,. Early in the day.
