I joined this group a few month ago and I have read most of everyone's posts.  I have had so much inspiration from them.  I had  an RNY in November 2011.  I was able to reach my goal weight.   Over last year I have become over confident and not following my eating plan and exercise.  Of course this has resulted in 35 pound weight gain.    So today is day three of being back on track.  I actually find I am full now that I have cut all the bad carbs out.   Of course night time is the worse when I want to snack.   I look forward to be part of this  group.  Comment suggestion are welcome.

Exercise

30 minutes walking the dog after work in 39 degree weather 

 

 

Today Meals

BKF

Protein drink

Greek yogurt

 

Snack

Cottage cheese 2%

Sugar free jello

 Lunch

 

Canadian  Bacon 

Savoy Cabbage

Dinner

4oz boneless Pork Chop

2/3  cup of green beans

1/2 slice ww bread

 

snacks

Hello!
I am just getting past, the 1st. wk. and it seems like an eternity? I read somewhere it get's better after like wk. 3. I am just trying to stay focused be patient with myself. Today was my 3rd. day of Exercise! I wanted to walk out doors like I did yesterday, but it was too cold! low 30's. And too cold in the basement to walk on the treadmill, so I put in one of DVD's Walk away the Pounds! let's just say I got through it. I am beyond out of shape right now.

Good for you, you were able to get your exercise in today.  I arrived home from work and bundled up and walked in this 30 degree weather for a half hour.   It actually was not to bad.   I think I will be able to walk tomorrow out side but that will be it fir they next few days.

Hi and welcome same here for two year out whammy.  But we got this. Sometimes I just wi**** was science. Lol I'm a numbers girl and I have been trying to tame this lion for a good minute now.. Good luck we all need it.

It sounds like you are off to a great start!!! 

I have to keep this in mind for me personally, "Carbs are the devil!"  (bread, crackers, cookies, rice, potatoes, sugar, etc)

Your food looks great today!  Just keep doing it one day at a time and you will be back where you were before the weight gain.  Good luck to you!

Thanks Tess.  I will post my food shortly.   I love the accountability.   Headed out for a walk now, probably the last time for awhile (outside) since it  will really turn cold after today.
