Good Morning Botters:

I don't ever remember being this busy at the first of the year but I am ready for another day off and soon.  My eats for today are:

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

2nd Breakfast:  Oatmeal

Snack:  Fiber One Cake

Lunch:  Quest Protein Bar

Snack:  Fiber One Cake

Dinner:  Lean Pocket Chicken BBQ

Snack:  Vitatop Deep Chocolate

Exercise:  Bike

I have got to get my eating plan under control.  I do my plan correctly all day long but the last snack of the night for the last three days has been a spoon in the Nutella Jar instead of a Vitatop.  I don't know if my body is craving more calories are just something different.  It may be time to update my menu.  I will work on this during the weekend.  Please remember to take those vitamins today and drink lots of water too!  Have a good one!

Good Morning!! Finally heard back from the doc about the knee x-rays. She confirmed Arthritis and bone spurs on the right knee. Amazingly the left knee (the LOUD knee) is the one that pops and snaps and sounds 20x worse but the right knee is the one that I fell on recently. The plan is to really hit the weight loss attempt HARD and find some non-weight bearing exercises that I will commit to doing every single day. Give it all I've got for 3 months and then re-assess. By then the weather will be getting warmer too. I really think this cold weather has had a lot to do with it.

Today's plan is looking like this:

Commute: Coffee

Breakfast: Sausage McMuffin

lunch: Frozen Entree (I've got the work freezer stocked up again) & side salad

snack:  Fiber One brownie

Dinner:  Beefaroni & small salad

Dessert:  Greek Yogurt Parfaits

Today's exercise is going to be limited. We've got friends coming for dinner so in the hour between getting home and them getting there. I need to get the house straightened up and diner cooked. I think that will be enough of a workout. Especially with the 2 hounds wanting to be underfoot while I'm in the kitchen. They make it a moving obstacle course. Captain has learned that all sorts of tasty, great smelling morsels go into the trash can and if he works at it long enough he can tip it over to explore the contents of the can. Rotten!!  Daphne just sits on the kitchen rug until the can finally flips and then she springs into action. I swear they make life a little more humorous in their own special way.

Yall have a great one.

Good morning BOTTs.

Evenings are killer for me.  It's so easy to stick to my plan and routine at work...I do well with a schedule.  But it's crazy now, it is pitch dark at my house by 5pm now and I don't go to sleep usually until about 11pm.   That's 6 hours of potential snackiepoos!  I have crocheted miles of scarves....pinterested until I couldn't see straight, dishes done, laundry done, and for some lame reason....the food zombie in me leads me to the fridge....an apple here....celery with peanut butter there, greek yogurt here, vitatop there, etc.  Maybe I just needed to "say it out loud" to see how ridiculous it really is.  I think I need to start logging the foods on an app right when I eat them...that way when the list seems to be getting a little LONG I will pull my head out of my a$$ or the fridge and regain my evening control.  It may be worth chugging water in the evenings even tho I will have to get up to pee a few times.  Ramble ramble ramble.

Breakfast:  Greek yogurt

Snack;  SF hot chocolate

Lunch:  cottage cheese and tuna

Snack:  SF hot chocolate and later string cheese

Dinner:  tilapia and green beans

Snack:  deep chocolate vitatop

Snack:  water

Snack:  water

Snack:  water

Exercise:  getting up repeatedly to use the restroom

(and a walk during my lunch break at work)

Have a great day, friends.

Gaby

Gaby,

When I notices that I was getting in the fridge ( and pantry) way too often at evenings - I posted 2 pictures on it - 1 before RNY another - when I was at goal..  Same on my pantry doors...

Looking at my picture at my highest - was a real reminder where I don't want to go.  Looking at my picture in bikini, all happy and smiling reminded me why do I do what I do...

Great idea....that's a true eye opener even as I think about it because I know just the two photos that are polar opposites!

Go to the Hardware store and get yourself an open and closed sign. Once you've cleaned up the kitchen for the night, post the sign on the fridge door and turn off the light. Done! - Iris

Yes yes yes!!!   GABY, THE KITCHEN IS NOW CLOSED!  I don't even need to go to the hardware store...I can print out one sign here on my computer at work (shhhhhhh) one side "OPEN" and the other side "CLOSED".

We are worth so much more giving into our cravings.  Cravings (and time) will pass.  Maybe I need to start going to bed at 7:pm haha.
