Hey all,

New Years Day was a new start over day for me, I've  had a 40 # re-gain.  I have degenerative joint disease and have lost 7' of height,  the most of the weight is my big belly, I have to get rid of as much of that as possible because the back pain is so debilitating.  I don't want to get into heavy duty narcotics because I had 2 sisters that liked their pain meds wayyyyy too much.  Anyway, I can't do much in the way of exercise, but any moving is something :-)

I decided to go back to Fit Day, I record EVERY bite that goes into my mouth, I've cut out bread completely, tried to cut out processed foods and go for vegetables and fruits, yogurts, meat and cheese.  I'm finding out there are carbs in foods that really surprise me !  Checking labels more closely, shopping in the outer aisles, sure is hard to STAY OUT OF THOSE INNER AISLES, that's where all the "good stuff" is :-)

I've lost 8.5 # since 1/1/2014, not a huge amount, but it sure makes me happy !

PS: I had a Lapband in 2006, due to ulcers it was emptied about a year ago, my surgeon says he would never fill it again to 2 cc where it was, so I need a revision to RNY, even losing my re-gain I thing I will still be eligible for the revision, I'm only 4'8...
