This may show up as a repeat.

Good Morning Botts:

I am so grateful that it is Friday!  This has been a long, grueling week and I am glad to see it come to an end.  The highlight of my day is seeing my son honored by the Rotarian Club for his high achievements in school and his 32 on his ACT test.  I am very proud of him.  My eats for today are:

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

2nd Breakfast:  Oatmeal

Snack:  Fiber One Bar

Lunch:  Rotary Club Luncheon-Not Sure

Snack:  Probably a Quest Bar

Dinner:  Rotel Mac & Cheese

Snack:  Deep Chocolate Vitatop

Exercise:  Bike

Have a great Friday, a wonderful weekend and remember those vits and fluids.

I really enjoyed reading yesterday's comment on ****   All I could think is I sure HOPE it's Thursday, one more day added to this week would surely end us all. Have I told yall the advantage of rubbing down my knees with Ben-Gay at night?  Everyone in the whole house has clear sinuses. lol. I'd forgotten how strong smelling that type stuff can be. It was so heavy in the air last night that my poor little dog opted to sleep on the couch. I slept great. Maybe a little too good. I was moving slower than a herd of turtles this morning simply because I didn't want to get dressed and get with the program.

Today's plan is looking like:

commute: Coffee

Breakfast:  Whole wheat english muffin w/ egg whites, cheese and a small cup of fake milk (30 minutes after)

lunch:  Soup & Salad

snack: Greek yogurt & 1/2 an apple

Dinner:  small portion of prime rib & salad (David can have the leftovers for Breakfast)

Hoping to start back with water aerobics on Monday. The kiddo is gone to his Mom's for the weekend so there will be lots of dog walking in my future. That requires stair climbing - which I dread.

Yall have a great day!! I know I will.

Thank you Iris for my first morning smile today.  We use to tease my mom about Ben Gay.  She used it so much that we told her that she was having a love affair with Ben Gay.  Her running joke was that "he was the reason she could get on her knees", at the time, I don't think as a young girl that I got the full meaning behind that joke.  Mom and her friends would laugh about it.  Hum, I think I am getting it now.  Gutter Friday. enlightened

I love the Deep Chocolate Ones and I hear that the Chocolate Chip ones are good too.  I also, heard that the corn ones taste like the Jiffy Brand corn bread mix.  I don't get many varieties at my grocery store and I am afraid to order in a large quantity and then not like them.  Congratulations on your hubby's birthday.  When my mom and dad were married there was 15 years between them too.  They had 39 years together.  My dad passed away at 70 and my mom had not turned 55 yet.  Gosh, just printing that out made me realize that I am the same age as my mom when she became a widow.  I can not image life without my hubby in it.  I will send you a special prayer for good health for your husband.  Enjoy every moment.

Ben-Gay just happened to be what I had on hand already (not a pay day week). She recommended "something akin to Ben-Gay" for rubbing them down in the evenings to see if it helped. They don't like cold at all so icing them is out.

Prayers for your Hubby. I love the age difference. My Dad was 18 years older than my Moma and my step Dad is 20 years older. I was 34 when my first husband died (2 days before our 12th wedding anniversary) he's now been gone longer than we were married. Not a day goes by that I don't wonder how different my life may have been had he not died so incredibly young. More so for my boys than for me. He was my high school sweetheart and will forever be the love of my youth.

Oh wow....the stories here touch my heart so deeply.  Each one makes me stop what I'm doing and either praise God or say a prayer.  We just never know what life throws our way, do we?

Happy Friday BOTTs.

WE made it...it's been a rough one, but lo and behold, the calendar keeps moving.  So thankful for weekends.  I used to work weekends, and so I am truly happy to have them off now.

Breakfast:  SF hot chocolate with protein powder

Snack: deep chocolate vitatop (a true addiction, so much so that I don't even care to experiment with other flavors!)

Lunch:  cottage cheese and tuna

Snack:  greek yogurt

Dinner:  I just don't know to be perfectly honest.

Snack: see Dinner

Have a lovely weekend, I hope you all are getting warmer weather.  I'm trying my best to send it your way!

Gaby, I have decided that Vitatops put something in the Deep Chocolate ones so that you crave them more each time you eat one.  I reorder every time I get down to my last seven.  I don't want to be without them now.   Hummmm, a plot from the company.
