Back On Track Together
Wednesday, January 8th, Cardio & Cafe
Dear Tess,
I'm new to the BOTTS group and am wondering what your typical 800 cal day looked like when you were losing the regain. If you've posted this before, please point me in the right direction!
So glad to have found you all!
First goal is working on tracking my cals better and getting the water in.
Is it Friday yet?
Hi There:
Sorry I have not responded much this week. It has been a madhouse at work and at home. When I was losing my regain, I was walking 1 hour a day or 3.6 miles, everyday. I would start my morning off with a protein shake, unjury, 30 grams of protein, 150 calories. I would have a protein bar for lunch and grilled chicken or fish and something green (salad, green beans, broccoli, etc) each night for dinner. My snacks were 1/2 banana in the morning and jello SF pudding cup in the afternoon and a weigh****chers ice bar or fudge pop for after dinner dessert. If I was still hungry in the evening, I would sometimes add another protein shake but this was rare for me. My calories would range around 700-800 a night. Proteins were 70-80 grams a day. I was burning about 300-400 calories a day through exercise. I drank all my water and I still drank my diet pepsi. I would usually lose weight every week for about 3 weeks and then I would stop for about 2 weeks and start losing again. First month I dropped around 14 lbs. the next month maybe 11 lbs. until I was finally losing about 3-4 lbs. a month. It took me 8 months to lose 70 lbs. but I never cheated and I stay true to my course. I have now maintained this 70 lb. lost within 10 lbs. for 2 years now. 10 lbs. is my cushion/comfort level. Good luck to you in 2014. I hope you reach your goal.
