Don't hate me because it's 70 here this morning. Of course there is supposed to be a 50 degree drop before I climb into bed tonight. What a wild ride this weather has been already this winter. The hubs and the kiddo went back to school today after having 2 weeks off....it was anything but pretty. Poor guys couldn't quite get their acts together. Why they won't take 5 minutes the night before and getting their stuff organized for the next day is beyond me.

With the crazy weather I normally would have a headache....knocking on wood....that hasn't happened this morning BUT my knees are screaming at me. They've hurt worse this weekend than ever. I've got my regular doc appointment on Wednesday so we'll have something to discuss besides my lab results. This whole aging process isn't for sissies and I'm about to believe than I'm a big sissy. lol

The plan for today:

Commute: Coffee

Breakfast: 1/2 blueberry bagel w/ cream cheese

snack: Greek Yogurt

Lunch: Chef's salad

snack: 1/2 apple with peanut butter

Dinner: Chili w/ cheese & sour cream

Not sure what sort of exercise I'll get the next few days other than some gentle stretching and hand weights.

Yall stay warm & safe. Get those fluids & vitamins in.

Good morning... We should get some cold tonight and then tomorrow.. after that expect normal 40's.

I have been dealing with nasty cold since the 1st.   I had a miserable weekend.. and today still all stuffed up. But I am doing little bit better, at least I can breathe  ( I had hard time with that yesterday) . Sleeping has been iffy... it is hard to sleep when you can't breathe.  Also got some minor fever last night, woke up at 2am absolutely freezing.. hot long shower got me feeling more like  a human.

My eating has been all carby, plus the holiday eating... and I am 10 lbs above my comfort level. some of it is jus****er ...but some is pure fat... I know that once I am OK I can deal with that.. but eating any dense protein now makes me so nauseated, while I still have to take my meds.. so fruits, gluten free crackers, avocado.. whatever work..

eats are simple:

coffee+coffee; tea

beef -veggies soup

hot and sour soup

cucumber and cold cuts,

hot and sour soup.

Hi Hala:  It is hard to diet when you feel so yucky.  I hope you get to feeling better soon!

Hey everyone!  Sorry I've been missing for a while.  I sure have missed you all.  On top of all the normal holiday hustle & bustle I was working a lot of overtime.  Thanks goodness that's behind me now and I can get back to my normal routine.  I did some splurging over the holidays and I didn't track calories much so I'm up a few pounds   but I'm feeling very motivated to get back on track!  It is freezing here too.  It's -1 with wind chill -26 burrrrrr!

I am glad to see my weather here, outside of Buffalo, isn't as bad as other places!  We are at a toasty 21 degrees, our cold snap and winter storm are coming later today.

Coffee

Breakfast- cottage cheese with a dab of sugar free fruit spread and a few tbs of Grapenuts for crunch.

Snack-UGH one of the women at work brought in cookies, so I ate 2 small cookies.  I was weak, what can I say?

Lunch-chopped Asian Salad, cheese stick

Snack-ENS shake with unsweetened Almond milk

Dinner-homemade chili with a dab of sour cream and cheese

I plan on doing the elliptical when I get home and lifting weights.

Of course, lots of water and my vitamins

Stay warm!
