Yesterday I was home all day, all alone. Well...alone meaning that I was the only human that was home. I'm still getting over this bear of a bug and about all that's left is a nasty cough. I'm so done with coughing, it's ridiculous. I did have the wonderful company of my three dogs (Maya, Zeus, and Chanel), my huge white cat (Furby), and the two old gals...horses (Jessie & Candy) out back, letting me know when it was time to feed with their not so subtle "whinnies and snorts". Sounds more like a party than just lil ol' me sitting at home resting up to get healthy for this beautiful new beginning, 2014. No wonder I never felt the slightest bit lonesome. Ha.
Breakfast: Greek yogurt
Lunch: panko crusted tilapia, green beans and one potato wedge.
Snack: SF hot chocolate
Dinner: 4 Veggie buffalo nuggets and a tablespoon of low fat ranch dressing
Snack: SF hot chocolate & deep chocolate vitatop
I think I should probably buy some protein to mix in with my SF hot chocolate because I do like it as a snack but it doesn't provide any protein.
I was doing so good with my walking everyday during my lunch break but then catching this crazy cold/flu/bug from hell has really kept me down. I have been stretching every day but it's going to take me a while to get my wind and endurance back up to par once I get back out there. It's always so difficult to get started again.
I finally remembered (or didn't purposely avoid?) to jump on the scale this morning so I know where I stand for the new year's starting point and I am happy to report that I managed to avoid any gain over the holidays! Whew. I bet that being sick has something to do with it, but hey! I'll take it.
