Good Morning Botts:

Happy New Year and January 2nd.  After 3/12 days with basically no sleep, I broke down and took 1/2 an oxycodine and a benadrine pill and slept the sleep of the dead.  I slept through the New Year and most of yesterday but I feel sooooo much better today.  Hala, I tried two different health food stores and could not locate the cream that you recommended.  I am going to see if I can order it on line.  My eats for today are:

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

2nd Breakfast:  Oatmeal

Snack:  Fiber One Cake

Lunch:  Quest Protein Bar

Snack:  Fiber One Cake

Dinner:  BBQ Chicken Fajitas

Snack:  Deep Chocolate Vitatop

Exercise:  Bike

I hope everybody has a great day and remember to please take your vitamins and drink your fluids.  It is a New Year, start it off right!

You can get that on line: Luckyvitamins, vitaminshoppe. etc. You may even be lucky and try to see if walmart carry that.. or even a normal CVS..

I had good results with this one... but needed a small applicator - to measure the cream.

http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/p/source-naturals-progesterone- cream-2-oz-cream/sr-5703?sourceType=sc&source=FG&adGroup=20- 40&keyword=SR-5703&cm_mmc=Google+Shopping-_-Product+Listing+ Ads-_-20-40-_-SR-5703&gclid=CJjkv8jY37sCFeHm7AoduC0Auw&gclsr c=aw.ds#.UsV2WfRDuAY

Later - when I was sure this thing worked - I used the pump version, much less messy and better delivery.

I like this one... (I did not used it - but from the label it looks like no tonly it has progesterone - but herbs that are known to help with many female issues. )

  • Natural progesterone skin cream
  • No artificial colors of fragrances
  • From wild yam to support hormone levels

Glad you finally were able to sleep! Please be careful with any hormonal supplements/creams and what have you. You may want to consult a doc before starting on any type of hormonal creams or supplements because in some cases hormonal adjustments in our body may cause cancer. Then again now days- "everything gives you cancer"-as the song goes by the great Joe Jackson. Anyway I am not an OB-Gyn. RN so I just know what I have heard. Just do research.
My plan for the day is-
*breakfast- fiber on Cinnamon Coffee Cake (which I love and will be sure not to eat more than two per day because they have me running to the restroom. They are sooooooooo good!!).
*Lunch-Oscar Meyer Southwestern grilled chicken strips.
*Dinner-not sure yet
*Snack-string cheese.
Y'all have an awesome day!!

Good Morning!!!

Tess, so glad to hear that you got some much needed sleep.

I've been really tired lately add the joint pain and I imagine when I get my lab results next week that I'll see the D very low and who knows what else will be out of kilter. We all know I'm a sunshine baby and the winter is always hard on me...but good grief our winter has just begun.

Looking at my food log yesterda, it was all about the chicken salad and whole wheat. As soon as I varied from that for dinner the antibiotic made me sick. I guess the hoppin john and the augmentin didn't like each other very much. I won't make that mistake today.

Commute:  Coffee (just creamer & without splenda)  YUCK!!!!

Breakfast:  Ham on whole wheat & augmentin

Lunch:  1/2 club sandwich with side salad & augmentin

Snack:  Yogurt & granola

Dinner:  either meatloaf or spaghetti (David is home and cooking dinner) & augmentin

lns:   peanut butter on whole wheat & augmentin

Have yall looked at the size of an augmentin tablet lately? They're honestly a meal by themselves. Like on the Jetsons when their food was all in pill form. YIKES!! Thankfully they seem to be working. The swelling has gone down in my hand (I can get my rings off if I need to now) and only the area around the puncture wounds remains red, puffy and tender.

Not sure what will qualify as exercise today. It's cold and raining here with temperatures dropping more than 20 degrees in the next 24 hours. Just hustling back and forth to the car in an attempt to stay warm and dry is a challenge. Maybe we'll fire up the Wii tonight and have a family game night.

Hope yall have a wonderful day.

- Iris

I hope that dog bite gets better for you.  Just to let you know, it was 32 degrees here today and tomorrow and by Monday we are looking at a 11 degrees.  Breeeeez!  Got to find my long johns for sure!
