Back On Track Together
Hi I'm Nikki new to the group excited though
I'm going back to basics to lose from a 16lb gain. My plan because to be honest with you haven't dieted before. I was well over weight when I had my surgery was insulin dependent. But athletic active so the weight was never a concern plus I was a teen mom so I never got wrapped up in my own image never got the cute teen cloths just sweat pants... I was more concerned about being a good mom never learned healthy lifestyle in my family you cleaned your plate. So this is the first gain I have had to attempt to lose and I have been failing miserably for twelve weeks now everything I have tried hasn't worked so I have rounded out a plan. Let me know if you all see anything I should adjust.
I weigh 166 I want to reach my goal weight 150 again which I attained and kept it stable until October sept was a bad month.
1200 cal a day straight up no eating back exercise cal
64 oz water plus
30 min cardio or machine to read 400 cal burned ( I know it's not always accurate that's why no eats back😜) no less than 5 days a week
im tracking on mfp
only carbs entering in my mouth will be from veggies or cheese
no fruit
no starches
for 16 weeks
no worry on getting in protein the last three days I tracked over 90 grams a day
also I work at a shop in a typically mans dept on average I walk 13000 steps In an 8 hour shift. Plus lifting heavy metal and moving casted parts around with in those 13000 steps.
my question is if I'm compliant 90percent of the time ( I know there has to be some over the edge moments mine are usually banana chips) too all of these statements will I be able to lose at least a pound a week?
Im on day three and am feeling great energy is back up I know I'm gonna need to be encouraged along the way and am hoping that later I will be able to share a success story and not feel like I do now. Which is a almost success and bummed about none of my clothes fitting cuz the 16 lb gain made me go from a size 4 to a 10 with a nice mushroom top. Ughh🙈 sorry so long I like sharing 😝
Hi Nikki:
It sounds like you got a good plan to follow. If you avoid all white products, etc. (sugar, bread, pasta, sweets) you should be able to get that 16 pound regain off in no time. Great exercise plan and awesome on the step counting. I didn't see where you posted about vitamins. Please be sure to take those daily as they help you succeed in your lost and keep you healthy too. Welcome aboard. We post daily our eats Monday-Friday and some post on the weekend too. We look forward to hearing from you and I wish you great success on getting back to goal.
Calcium is in the fusion all warped in one 😜
thanks for the heads up though you all don't miss a thing... I like that👍
