Back On Track Together
Friday, December 13th, Cardio & Cafe
Happy Friday the 13th Botters:
We are so blessed to have this "lucky" day fall in the month of December when all the crazies are out and about. Watch your driving, purses, etc. as this is the time of the year for folks to "help" theirselves. I have one more birthday celebration dinner tonight and I will be over the birthday parties. I plan to be one of the crazies and go to the mall tomorrow to finish up my Christmas shopping. If I could do it all online, I would. My eats for today are:
Breakfast: Coffee & Miralax
2nd Breakfast: Oatmeal
Snack: Fiber One Bar
Lunch: Quest Protein Bar
Snack: 1/2 Granola Bar
Dinner: 1/2 Roast Beef Hoagie in Au Jus

Exercise: Probably not tonight!
Have an awesome day and a great weekend. Remember those vits and fluids. Stay Safe and warm too!
TGIF ! I have so much to do before next weekend when my family arrives to spend several days under my roof. I will have about 25 staying for several days ! I love it !
We will have blow up mattresses all over the house, plus I have three extra bedrooms that they will occupy ! From my children, my nieces, my great nieces and their families !! From Colorado, Kentucky, Arizona and of course various towns here in Texas !!! I am excited ! I really need to go to Sam's sometime between now and then, but that is an hour away in Amarillo and it is so close to Christmas that they will be packed......we will see if I make it over there.

snack.......apple
Lunch........one cup homemade chicken and noodles and some veggies
snack......hmmm?? Maybe popcorn
dinner.........it is Friday night, so probably left over homemade soup or my hubby will take me out !!
snack..........probably nothing ....maybe some yogurt.....who know ??
ya'll have a great and safe weekend ! Stacy
Stacy - You are one BRAVE soul. When my Mom's family would all get together on Christmas eve there would be about 25 of us...I can't imagine them spending the night. Then again it was only a 2 bedroom house that we lived in. Not enough floor space at that point for everyone to have just a pillow and blanket. But it does make for GREAT memories. I'm sure the kids will look back on it for years and years to come.
Tess - I'll be one of the crazies too. I did the majority of my shopping on line. There's one present that may not make it in time for Christmas but nothing major. It's new shoes for one of the kiddos. Maybe this way they'll still look semi-new by the time he goes back to school in January. lol....I somehow doubt it.
Today makes 5 years since David & I met on our very first date. Dang time flies. It's a kiddo free weekend too!!! Time to act like newlyweds.
The plan for today is:
breakfast: Protein bar (woke up with a headache and needed something on the stomach with some tylenol)
commute: coffee
snack: Popcorn
Lunch: Cheeseburger (tossed the bun)
snack: Winterblend coffee with some "good" creamer (not sf or ff)
Dinner: Homemade BBQ & squash *** we had our first date over lunch at a local BBQ place. They're out of buisness now, but I make awesome BBq in the crock pot.
I hope everyone has a blessed weekend. Gaby - you and your daughter are still in my thoughts and prayers.
- Iris

Good afternoon BOTTs.
Things are still going better on the home front, fingers crossed and lots of prayers on this end for sure.
The weather has been a little nippy here at night and in the mornings...guess who's wearing boots to work? hahaha...my regular work shoe "wardrobe" was looking a little tired so it's nice to have a change.
Breakfast: greek yogurt
Snack confession: Someone brought in Krispy Kreme donuts to the office....and yup....I snatched one up. I quickly learned that it was out of habit, however, and not out of true desire. About halfway thru...I realized that it just wasn't all it was cracked up to be! Now....mind you...I really like them hot and fresh out of their ovens but luckily, the only one in my vicinity closed several years ago. Anyway, this box was not hot and fresh out of the oven....they were just cold glazed donuts, probably a day or two old. The 2nd half of the donut ended up in the trash....I wish I had realized it before I'd even got that far but it was a great realization. Non-scale victory? In my book, yes, because if/when someone brings in another box of them, I won't even think twice about indulging.
Lunch: Fish taco and a banana
Snack: SF hot chocolate
Dinner: Turkey burger minus the bun with sliced tomatoes
Snack: string cheese
Have a wonderful weekend, friends. Thank you, again, for your kind thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement.
